To think of that level of talent can even exist blows my mind. It shouldn't be possible to achieve photorealism type results by hand.

That is some insane level talent, and labor...never mind focus and attention to detail.
The end product is amazing really, in the true sense of "Amazing" and not the over used version. The time lapse is fascinating...well done on that end too. I struggle with friggin' stick figures. Pearls before swine and all, but I have an appreciation of art. That gal is talented, and needs to be encouraged, as well as spoiled rotten. |

Subscribed. Your girls got talent! Its amazing that it is self taught.

The replication of photos that are created using the grid method of drawing look incredible once complete. Op's wife did an outstanding job on hers. It is very tedious work, because you are essentially making a grid on a real photo, then scaling it up or down to the size you desire, the you must choose a good medium to work with. Once scaling is done you refer to each square on the photo and replicate what is in it on the corresponding square of your paper/canvas. I used to prefer stipple dot, pastels or charcoal pencils when I was taking art, but lots of other mediums can be used as well. OP, tell your wife she has great talent and her artwork looks incredible!! View Quote But thank you. She really appreciates the comments. |

I don't know if it's still the case, but the YouTube UI used to have a way to replace the audio track from a library of royalty free tracks YouTube had. You could select the genre and length.
I used it for all my timelapses. ETA: so, upload video, in part of the publishing process you could choose the audio track, then let it re-encode |

Great work. She has talent.
You could ask another YouTube channel, a musician, to use their material for the music. Then cross promote their channel on your video. |
|
Very, very, talented!!!
I would ask for her to draw something for me, but it would most likely be out of my price range. |

OP, I showed the video to my 9 year old daughter, who loves to draw. She was in awe.
She asked me, to ask you, if your GF is planning to do any "how to" videos? |

ARFCOM has watched her progress from when she first started drawing until now, and it's only right that you all be included in this milestone as well. Her first start to finish drawing video is now live! Expect more to come as she completes new drawings, as well as various tutorials and other content on her channel, mostly art related but not always. Throw her a sub if you like her content (or just want to help us out) please, we need to get that sub count up! Here it is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMiYg3DsyWQ clickable https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMiYg3DsyWQ And the final drawing - https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/56693/LRM-EXPORT-20170325-192333-173505.jpg Note: Yes the music is the same as it was in her test video. I had another supposedly public domain track in the video the first time (this is actually a reupload), but it got a copyright claim. It was a beethoven track, by a known public domain pianist, and some recording studio on behalf of 'depeche mode' claimed it, monetized it, and blocked it in 235 countries. Ugh. So, I had to throw this one in there. I'm working on more royalty free tunes, but they're a bitch to find. If anyone has any good leads on royalty free classical I'd like to know about your sources. Or if any classical musicians wanna do some music for us, I'd like to talk to you about that too. View Quote That's awesome! |

Man she can draw really fast.........
Seriously that's fantastic work. Whst does she do with yhem once she draws them |
|
Update - she (or we, I guess) signed up and joined a youtube network. We now have access to tons of music, and lots of tools for content creators that were previously unavailable to us.
It took a bit of convincing to get them to let us join with just the one full video, but we got it done. |

I am so fucking relaxed right now...
I hope you guys keep making videos. Awesome talent! |

Very cool.
Only thing I might suggest would be to cut the time from 5 minutes to 3 or 4. If you can get it down to 2 minutes you could post a gif (with source) on imgur and get a bunch more exposure. They love this stuff over there. Also, when the clip switched from time lapse to close ups the first thing I did was click to get past it. It disrupted to flow for me. This is advice is worth exactly what you paid for it. I hope you get a bunch of subscribers and make some mula. That was fun to watch. |

She has talent. I enjoyed watching the video and how she completed the drawing.
It is interesting that people like her can see it in their minds and use proper spacing start from some place other than the center. I can't. I am not an artist, but I have start from the center and work out. Even then it looks like I am in 3rd grade. |

The grid system and her overall plan for the drawing seems to help mitigate this somewhat. |
