I just needed an ice chest for deer hunting as the nearest ice machine is 30 min away at 10 dollars a bag. I stay for a week. Ice every two days in 40 degree weather was not cutting it. For normal events I have a small metal coleman. Yeti was not super expensive when the wife unit got mine. The pelican was not in wide supply either

They have overboard drains and get scrubbed with boat cleaner every trip. The cooler is for beer and is additional front seat forward of the center console.
