I bet $100 there was a second cop just outside the door off camera. Otherwise the perp would have ran once out that door instead of laying there while the officer casually looked around inside.

I don't understand the officer. He doesn't handcuff the suspect and leaves the suspect unattended while he checks out the other room? Was there a partner?

The one door he came through had a window in it. He should have concentrated on busting it- yes, I know safety/security glass but it AIN'T THAT secure. Then he could simply have activated the push bar and opened it.

I'm not certain the guy didn't call the cops himself.....after seeing that "gimp cage" in the room where he broke in, he maybe decided the cops were the safer alternative!

I have never understood why every one of these videos has to have some horseshit music playing.

I would have left him in there as long as possible. Like for a weekend and then say I just checked the camera. He isn't going to get any real punishment from the "justice" system, at least you can punish him a little bit yourself.

yep you can see his shadow from time to time

1st officer is also talking to him/making eye contact towards the end of the video

I want to know about that door
it was thinner metal but it and the frame took some serious abuse
surprised he didn't break a ankle or at least his collar bone

It's interesting to watch the scumbag's mental faculties gradually slip away as the stress level rises.

At first he appears fairly calm, and goes about a relatively methodical search for a way out. As more and more time goes by (and he knows he's fucked), he gets less rational, starts trying really stupid stuff and just banging on the same door the same way over and over again. Fascinating... I wonder if a PET scan would have actually shown the brain activity moving from the front toward the back of the brain as the video went on.

You'd get dinged for kidnappings, here. Happened when a burglar got accidentally locked in a garage.

But, yeah. Missed great opportunity to fuck with his head in a major way. Maybe have the back room filled with rats or something and have the door rigged to lock open, once opened.

My stomach was in knots when the guy was kicking the doors. I was worried he was going to hyper extend his knee.

I can watch dudes get shot, blown up, set on fire, etc..but bone breaks and joint reversals turn my stomach.
