In. Hope your recovery goes well, and please do post details regarding the incident.

I glad you weren't killed. These things sicken me to hear.
Keep us posted on your progress. The "friend"?... adios man. |
You got it backwards. Next time you get shot, post the pics first, then the back-story. |
good luck fighting the pain. hope the docs have a good pain management skills.........
where's the .gif saying "I can't see shit"
ETA: Damn......don't type something, then talk for a min, then click submit |
That sucks.
I'm no expert on wounds but pain depends an awful lot on where you get hit. I got a knife embedded in my leg and it barely hurt at all. |
Glad you're alive, and best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Refer your friend to: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=962230 for an explanation of why you're beating the snot out of him with a baseball bat one handed. |
You're a lucky man!
Stupid, but lucky. Glad you did not get killed. |
Glad to see you're ok.... Now tell your friend that it wasn't that bad & now its your turn to try it on him.... |
You might want to post those pics in the OP... that's the first place most people check... or say "PICS PG2" in the subject line. So please detail how your friend "wound" up shooting you... We are all very curious. Hope you have a very speedy recovery. What type of rounds were you carrying? |
holy shit.
Lets hope your friend turns out to be a real friend and doesn't disappear when you go after him for the $20,000 flight and medical expenses. Hope you're a lefty what part of FL and how do you like those safety triggers? |
Another member I don't want to meet. Or your friend...
P.S. Glad you're OK. |
Not sure how it happened, I was surfing Arfcom and BOOM. Yes he is a dumbass. I haven't written him off yet. The SXT functioned as advertised and it's sitting on my kitchen table, pics when I get home. I'm making a necklace out of it.
Reason I'm typing so well is I'm one handing it on my iPhone in my hospital bed. I'm 20, I just look 12. lol |

Where the fuck are the pics?!? screw the photos. I want to know how it happened. |
damn
was your friend the one posting earlier that doesn't adhere to rule number one of gun safety? My prayers for a speedy recovery to you how old are you? |

I didnt know craig feldspar was a gun owner. Was it malcom or dewey that shot you?
Quoted: OP sure does type well for someone who just got shot in the arm. All arfcommers have excellent skills at typing one handed. |
But seriously though, you didn't hand your friend a loaded firearm did you?!
Good luck and push through the therapy.
You don't want to lose any ROM while so young. |
just be thankfull that it was'nt a G20.
We'd be changing your screename to stumpy. T |
How did it happen ? I hope you have good insurance to pay for all that.
What does your friend have to say about it ? Good luck and get well |
The rules say that since he shot you, you get to shoot him. You could offer to lighten the sentence...you get to beat him with a baseball bat one day a year for ten years. |

Glad I don't live next to you - In what way is this funny or "cool" to the point you want a necklace made out of the bullet?? I am glad it was not removed from some innocent person's head, Good grief |

Quoted: Saturday night my friend accidentally negligently shot me with my G19. It went in above my elbow at an angle, coming out below the elbow in my forearm. Round was a Winchester Ranger SXT 127gr +P+. The bullet grazed my left knee. It shattered my elbow and bruised some nerves and tore up a tendon. I had surgery this morning and they put a plate and screws in it, the ball of the joint was in two or three pieces as well as the socket. They repaired the tendon and did a bone graft. I was surprised, I thought it was going to hurt a lot more initially. I'm not one to take pain easily but I didn't cry at all. I know it hurts now and the physical therapy involved is gonna hurt like a mofo. Pics of wounds and xrays soon. Glad you're still sucking air on your own. |
Kid you need a better class of friend. Try one that understands fireams safety, can keep his booger hook off the trigger and for god's sake don't let him sweep you with a weapon. Glad you will be okay.
I think there is an unwritten rule is your buddy accidentally shoots you and his old lady is hot you get to fuck her.
Glad to hear you are OK. |
You're gonna have to learn to wipe with your left hand...
In on 2 |
Curious how one aims a gun at his buddy, pulls the trigger and gets the incident labeled an accident.
Quoted: and how do you like those safety triggers? Don't start that shit. |
Damn man, glad your alive.
Seriously though, you have not written him off? 4 rules man, he broke ever damn one of them. |
