I'll never sell another gun. I've sold too many guns that I bought cheap and watched the prices climb to the point where I'd never buy them again, but still wish I could have/shoot them.
Chinese SKS bought for $200 10 years ago Old Savage 30-06 I wish I could do an Elk gun build on now There are others, many others I'd tell any coworker to go get one from a gun store |

Kudos for wanting to err on the side of caution, but in this case I would say there's not much to be concerned about. I had a DUI over 15 years ago, at the age of 22. I never even saw the inside of a holding cell.
I would say to just base your decision on his character. He obviously is holding a job and staying clean, and if the DUI was his only brush with the law, he's legally able to purchase firearms be it from you or anyone. Just go with your gut unless you know for sure that he is a prohibited person. |
