Didn't you say mechanical dial earlier? Doesn't compute. Keylock on a dial has nothing to do with security. If they knew how to break it they wouldn't have used a pick. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I wonder where the key for that motorcycle was? |

Op, post a pic of your buddy's safe. I'd like to see that pick damage.
I've got a Liberty Safe myself, so this makes me curious. |

Am I reading right that there are pics of the perps? Why not post those up since there are people here that may recognize them?

Don't forget the Duck was stolen too. More than one guy because someone had to drive the four wheel vehicle away from the scene. Sorry OP I feel your friends pain as I have been hit before. Is it possible to gives us details of the safe such as make and model and how they got into it?? Was it bolted down? This might seem trivial but it does help some of us. Bike vin and engine. Most likely changed but here is the plate. License Plate 5D7144 Big thing that will set it apart are the LED flush blinkers. And an exhaust that sounds like a nightmare. |

They knew where the ducati's keys were, where it was parked. The Duc keys were in the safe as well. Glad I tagged this thread. I had a feeling the owner locked the motorcycle keys in the safe because it was the most secure place at the apartment for them. And we also know that the lock was not picked but it was the front door that was picked. And since the Revere is a UL rated safe so is the lock which totally rules out some bullshit pass key. So,either someone HAD the safes combination or they did a successful pry attack on the door or they cut their way in. Here's hoping this heist was too big and they are caught by their own greed and avarice. It has to be one of the three. |

Liberty Revere 23 safe and the lock pick was found broken off in the lock for his front door View Quote My bet? That was on purpose, done after the fact as a diversion, once the pick breaks off in the lock cylinder there is no picking the lock until it is removed. Look to the maintenance people now for sure. [Maintenance man] I'll break this burglary tool off in the door to make it look like a person without keys to the place did this.[/Maintenance Man] |

More details will help this thread, OP:
Sounds like the guy is overseas, who is the middle man feeding you info on the break in?.... or is he now back? Was the safe damaged? It went from picked to not picked, but no more detail. Pics of safe from questionable middleman or owner? ETA: I guess "help" is a relative word. Understanding the break in may or may not help the gent recover his property. ETA2: Mixed up another thread with this, guess guy isnt oot. |

sorry to hear but what is up with all the larue rifles getting stolen all of a sudden..

If someone took that from me, I would find them, and slowly kill them

He has footage of three people entering the apartment?
Is it just the guns and the motorcycle gone? No TV, expensive electronics, jewelry etc taken? How much nice shit would they (burglers) walked by on their way to the safe? |

Not forced,HMM..... Smells of a dirty leg woman. Someone new or found the combination. For clarification I have a friend that forgets the combination of his dial lock so much that he has written it in pencil on his garage wall. |
