Oh jeeze. Mention Romo and it's like a bat-signal for you to show up. The guy sucks. He always will suck, regardless of what happens in the running game. Physically talented, terrible decision making, no mental toughness. Jerry is the biggest problem but Romo is right up there. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

He is a good mid list qb....until he feels pressure then he makes Tebow look like a HoFer. If the cowboys ever got a decent running game they might break 500 again. Are you watching the game? Their running game is fantastic today. Today. They haven't had a good running season in years. He's talking about the big picture. Not today. Oh jeeze. Physically talented, terrible decision making, no mental toughness. Jerry is the biggest problem but Romo is right up there. Yeah - playing with fractured ribs shows no mental toughness Sorry - it appears you know little to nothing about the game of football. Otherwise you wouldn't be blaming the shortcomings of the team on Romo. At worst he is in the top half of the quarterbacks in the league. |

At least he didn't draft Manziel. Give him that. You guys that are complaining about Romo need to sit back and watch Cleveland over the next few years and realize, "damn, maybe we didn't have it all that bad." View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Cowboys fan since birth here. Today, you can lay blame on Romo all you want. He's making multiple shitty decisions and just playing like a high schooler. He deserves it today. However, usually he plays well and the vast majority of last year for example, could be blamed on the defense/shitty offensive line/running game. Not to mention Jerry Jones. This. Also a lifelong Cowboys fan. Problem is Jerry Jones. He's made the team into the most valuable franchise in the NFL in spite of their shitty record. Imagine if they had a few winning seasons... That honor belongs to the fans that still love and support the team, despite 2 decades of mediocrity. I count myself as part of the blame for that as well. I'm right there with you. Jerry Jones need to quit being GM, hire someone who knows what he's doing, and shut up, and write checks. At least he didn't draft Manziel. Give him that. You guys that are complaining about Romo need to sit back and watch Cleveland over the next few years and realize, "damn, maybe we didn't have it all that bad." He had to be physically stopped from drafting Manziel by his son. |

The guy looks like a caricature and his game is mediocre at best, way overhyped much like the qb of my team, the bears Cutler played a solid game. I wont put the loss on him today, but he's not the qb everyone hoped he would be, struggles at filling the leadership role the team needs. That stiffarm on Conte at the end of the game looked solid |

I would say he might have one of the best pure throwing arms in the history of the league, but there just seems to be something missing from him. |

i refuse to be a cowboys fan until Romo and Jones both go. and we know that aint gonna happen anytime soon.

I believe Romo has pretty decent stats. View Quote He does, he is at worst an average quarterback. He is not good enough to be the type of guy that lights up defenses every day, but he is certainly no slouch. He is not as good as some people on TV try to make him sound (I have even heard the word "elite" used on ESPN to describe him ) but he is also nowhere near as bad as some of the Cowboys fans think he is. As I said in a previous post, I believe that is largely due to their past success, and since they look back at what they used to be in the glory days (America's team, dynasty, champions, etc.) and now see that they are just another average football team, I mean the literally go 8-8 almost every year it seems, people tend to be hard on him. He is one of the more polarizing qb's in the league. It seems he is either vastly underestimated or overestimated...not many people take him for what he is..and that is just a pretty good quarterback. Not great, not bad, but middle of the field. He is certainly better than anyone else on their roster, assuming he is not injured, or anyone they can sign in free agency. Unless they want to put a package together to try to trade for another teams backup, I don't see what else someone can expect from them at this point. Even if they did that, it is not realistic to think that a quarterback could crash course through a brand new system, and get out there and do any better than he is doing right now. |

I knew we were fucked. |

Niner's defense are beating up Romo like he was a pregnant wife

He got lucky on that deep pass. The DB miss-timed his jump, or it would have been pick #4.

Cowboys fan here,
Romo fucking sucks, that's the bottom line. I would rather watch the rookie get his ass handed to him. |
|
Man this is odd. Listening to the post game show on the radio and the hosts are fucking ripping Romo.
I wonder if they'll have jobs tomorrow? |
|
I can't wait until October 5th. I have a feeling JJ Watt is going to get to know Romo pretty well.
I can't believe Clowney is out for 4-6 weeks. |

Dallas needs to bring Michael Sam up from that practice squad NOW! That'll fix things

What's Brett Farve up to?
Anybody heard from Jamarcus Russell? Is Ryan Leaf out of prison? |

Bring on the white knighting. I want to hear you justify again why romo is a good QB. The problem is, undebatably MORE than just tony romo, the Defense is awful, we need a GM and a real coach. I know all this. Let's hear you defend romo. View Quote Nope. His career as an effective NFL QB ended with the back injury against Washington. |

Just to gloat a little ... today Andy Dalton looked like Payton Manning, Babe Ruth, Bart Starr, and Jesus Christ all rolled into one.

Hmmm
The Texans won so there's that Giant fan here I'm not the gloating type Compare Eli to Romo Eli has two rings He throws the ball all over the lot I'm thinking he gets a pass because of championships |

Im a Bengals and Cowboys fan. Always have pulled for both teams until they play each other then I let the cards fall...
But right now, John Kitna looks like a good choice to dust off the mothballs for a while til they figure out what the hell is going on. He may not have the superstar arm, but he was a very good field commander and could read a defense with the best of them. Dont think so? He was the one who turned Cincy around til they brought in Palmer. But still, Kitna was on the side relaying defense scenarios to Palmer and telling him what to look for. Once Kitna left Cincy... Palmer choked! I know, I know... Realistically its not going to happen and I am not saying it should... But he damn sure cant do any worse than Romo right now. And remember, when Romo was hurt a few years back and Kitna finished the season, he had more wins than Romo. Letting D. Ware go was a huge mistake on the defensive side. I am thinking very seriously about a 94 Denver jersey! |

"Wellll it was a well run campaign, midget, broom, and what-not". |
