Oh, and did anyone catch this gem from the article? The school superintendent appears to be more upset about the negative publicity than the fact that his students were ass-raped. And while they will implement new ways to report the athletic-team ass-rapes, they didn't mention ways to STOP it. Guess they like their hot guy-on-guy action in that school district. Jose Moreno, superintendent of the La Vernia Independent School District, said the allegations have “crushed the spirit” of the community.
“I ask that we unite and focus on recovering through this challenging time together,” Moreno wrote on the district’s Facebook page. “I encourage you to be thoughtful before posting negative comments on various social media outlets that may be hurtful to students, staff, and community members. Let’s instead use it as a tool to communicate our true identity and tell a story of our wonderful students and their accomplishments.” School administrators and athletic department directors will now implement additional ways for students to report concerns or receive counseling, Moreno said. |

I just don't understand this, when I was in school if someone had come up to me and said "hey see the new guy, let's hold him down and shove some things in his ass" I would have said WTF is wrong with you, and probably kicked the shit out of him. I can't imagine any of my friends that age sodomizing someone as hazing. Christ, hide their clothes, put icy hot in their shorts, kick their ass on the field, whatever, but it should be initiation and paying your dues, not getting raped in the locker room.

It's been 25 years since I played HS football. This shit did not go on.
Hazing yes.....ass raping people no. Our "hazing" was the last one up the hill into the locker room after practice got tossed into the shower after they changed into their street clothes, or making the freshman carry the seniors equipment everyday for a week. Harmless shit. |
