I watched this series regularly.
But there was one episode I wished I had seen the ending of.

A boy is trapped in a dry concrete culvert.  He's okay, but storm/flood water is on the way.  The walls of the culvert are Just steep enough so that he can't get out without help.  I missed the last 10 minutes of that episode.  I do wish I knew how it ended.

Ok, so it was a Regional Thing.

But he had this show since 1954.  Every Sunday Morning we would listen to him after we got back from Church.

James Garner's Nichol's

1914 Western.  Lasted just the one season.  This ended with Garner going on to The Rockford Files and greater success.

Just so you know:  The two "Dads" are both Hetro.
They both loved a woman Back In The Day.   We never see her.  She got preggers and didn't tell either of the Two Dads.  She brought up her daughter never knowing which man was The Official Daddy.  She didn't care either.  The series starts when she dies after an illness.  The daughter is presented to the men and is watched over by The Judge we see in this opening.

Cute series.

About the time of about 27:50...

He would jump on the piano and sometimes make Risqué jokes about where he hurt himself.
One time the piano was rigged to collapse when he landed on it.

They don't shows like that any more.

Found the entire prisoner series on DVD for $25 a while back and picked it up. It is still very watchable. It was way ahead of its time.

I must be old and I watched way to much TV when I was a kid. I remember almost every one of these.
