What a cluster.  Rapp and Schefter both saying Whitehead wasn't even in the state.  Never got summons or anything.  Nobody knew of the arrest initially.  Both say they've seen his travel records and he was not even in the state at time of arrest.

Weird.

This is why Dallas drafted the guy out of NC, to eventually move on from Whitehead.

yep.  this was not lucky's first problem.  nothing particularly egregious, just one of those guys whose head isn't screwed on right.

switzer is exactly the opposite--just a ton of grit, focus, and want-to.  he was blowing the doors off of 1st string defenders in minicamp.  looking forward to seeing the guy on the field.

If that was the only reason they might, but it wasn't.

If they cut him before even checking his story then they were probably looking for a reason to cut him or, at the very least, he was on the bubble.

Cowboys signing RB Ronnie Hillman.

Cowboys David Irving had his nipple ring ripped out at practice.

Do you fine folks think he is worth more than a good QB to anyone? I know free market, but Dam Son. That's a lot of money.

hell no, absolutely not. look at deandre hopkins last year, he's arguably a top 10 receiver, maybe some would say a top 5, but he didn't have a great season b/c his qbs sucked. Then look at brady, he makes a bunch 6 foot and under white boys household names. a good QB is always worth more than any other player. still doesn't mean someone won't throw retarded money at OBJ.

Personally I think the only players worth more than $15M a season are QB's and elite edge rushers.

Never gonna happen.

Probably worth mentioning, wanting something and expecting something are two different things. I would assume every player in the NFL wants to be the highest paid player in the NFL.

Patriots defensive end Rob Ninkovich retiring.

Originally a 5th round draft pick by the New Orleans Saints. Was releases 4 times in his first 4 seasons. Patriots picked him up as the last man on the roster in training camp in 2009. By 2011 he was an every game starting end. 41 sacks, 11 forced fumbles, 3 INTs in the last six seasons. Only called for 9 penalties in his career.
