This is underscored by the GOP senate takeover----Obungo looks like an even bigger fool to the general public.  Who would want to stand side by side with this amateur, especially now that he's having public tantrums and threatening all sorts of ridiculous executive orders?

Because her base has different views on the incident based on their racial backgrounds
She doesn't want to alienate any potential voters
If she comes out against Brown, she alienates the Black Dems
If she supports Brown she loses the white middle of the road Dem
