I figured. I think this thing is headed for a cease fire that may stick this time. From what I've been gleaning is that the political leadership of Hamas(fat cats in Qatar) and the Palestinian Authority are in favor of a cease fire but the shadowy military head if Hamas directing the fight in Gaza want to press on. Since the rocket fire has been decreasing for the last few days Hamas may be running low of the long range stuff. At the same time, if just one of the long range rockets causes large casualties in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem then all bets are off. The other wild card is the tunnels that are causing most of the IDF casualties. The IDF won't stop dealing with them until they are gone.

In summary I think it will be quiet at least for tonight. Then I could be totally full of shit

News reporting all the action is in east Gaza. So I doubt you'd see much from the cams. They also reported there was about a 30 minute gunfight lots of small arms that died down. If I had to hazard a guess there was probably another tunnel infiltration and that's what the shootout was about, And the heavy bombing was to destroy those tunnels or give air cover to the troops, maybe both. I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. IDF has probably run out of targets in Gaza City for now.

They get any closer and it's "Oh, Wooow!! We are being shelled, please report what you see, Gaza is under attack, oh look! They are using phosphor bombs on us, Allah help us!!
