somethingfuckyisgoingon.gif Ricky, is that you? Conky here thinks you didn't watch the show. View Quote The third episode was just rick running around in a rat meat suit, while the rest of the gang gets berated by Susan Sarandon. It all feels clumsy and doesn't have the spirit of the first two seasons. |

Aside from the first episode, the new season is pretty crappy. The writing has for whatever reason abandoned the typical dynamic between Rick and Morty which had made the first two seasons excellent, and instead focuses on the more weird and off-the-wall science-fiction aspect of the show which was never strong enough to carry it. Then they threw the divorce and therapy thing in there, which seems kind of forced. The second and third episodes are pretty weak, but they did have their moments. I'm guessing it's because they hired new writers who really don't understand the show. View Quote |

I thought it was a good episode.
If any of you recorded it can you look at about 12:20 and post what was said? Apparently Rick "named the Jew" and it's the reason AS isn't streaming the episode on their site. Whatever was said I must have missed it. |

It's fun to guess at least. I'm guessing yes. Morty is learning how to disarm/build Rick's tech (for example disarming nukes today) Rick says he used to wear blue pants, and more specifically... -Half Morty half Rick -Annie and Diane look very similar, plus why would Rick know a teenager has a 'puffy vag' unless there was something else going on, like that was his wife in the future. -Season 1 Episode 1 Rick tells Morty to stick the seeds up his butt because he's done it too many times already. And they make people super intelligent, but lose bodily function. Rick is always drooling, and Morty starts the same way when they kick in. -A Rick will always find a Morty, so it's a giant paradox. https://images.moviepilot.com/images/c_limit,q_auto:good,w_600/wfrrlpo8jxzmh83wrrzm/rick-and-morty-credit-adult-swim.jpg http://i.imgur.com/JTnlsfe.png View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

New episode had way more potential than what it ended up being.
Click To View Spoiler I really thought Jerry was going to come out of his shell as more of a hero, in the end he's still Jerry. Had some real opportunities to grow some backbone, and came through (kinda) at the airport scene where he attacked the guy that was going to kill Rick. I expect we will see a different Jerry by the end of this season, and Jerry will grow some balls and either get back together with Beth or move on altogether.

He figured out Rick's plan in Pickle Rick (the timer, the scissors, the syringe), worked out the games and demonstrated he can diffuse Rick's bombs in the Vindicators and in the last episode he's applying critical thinking rather than randomly pushing buttons. He's not just understanding Rick's technology; I think he is starting to think like Rick. |
