Strokes don't have a particular smell. Unless you count the patients that become incontinent. Then they smell like shit.

So you're saying you smell like shit?

Should I check my straight privilege?

(with regard to the recent IN ruling allowing businesses to refuse services to certain groups)
For me, it's about giving people the option to deny a public service to someone based on "religious beliefs". the problem I personally have with this, is because 1. it's based on so called "Christian" values 2. In my personal experience, people use the veil of religion to hide behind prejudices. Now of course some Christians don't see a problem with this law because in is written as a direct result of same sex marriages and folks against that don't want to "have" to support the rights of that individual by providing them a service. If as a business owner, you don't want to provide services to everyone then get out of public business. The humiliation that laws like this brings is something that straight people will never have to deal with so it's easy to make comments saying that "Oh its fine" or "It's protecting religion" because it doesn't pertain to or change the privileges you already enjoy. A "Right" shouldn't be a right if it takes rights away from others... Furthermore, if say... a Muslim law maker signed into a law something that was based on those values, there would be OUTRAGE in the streets from Christians saying that religion should be out of our government just in the same way that there is "Outrage" if someone in our government who isn't Christian even says a prayer based on their religious beliefs, but saying a Christian prayer is fine. At that point some folks are okay with religious Freedom but only with it applies to Christianity. Its a double standard that to me as a Christian American is unacceptable.

I have said pretty much that to a lot of people bitching about rifra

they aren't amused when I tell them anyone cal tell anyone to fuck off and the government doesn't get to tell them to stop being an asshole.

Doc said everything went well and I should be able to do pretty much everything I used to do.  Just a little reduced range of motion in my neck, but it shouldn't be too bad at all.

You could put a little velcro ring around it and stick it to your sock. It would contain the situation during work hours.
