That's their problem for not respecting the CoC. I am well aware of what he did but a lengthy lock probably could have straightened that out. Hell, the canadian version of Dave_A is still here and posting as far as I know. You know who I'm talking about. Outright permaban was too much IMHO. IIRC, he had been locked/warned several times for the same behavior. but like you said, if everyone who posted for the "sole intention of eliciting a negative response" got banned, this would be a pretty quiet place I see a difference though. You usually see the same people pop up in various threads and voice their opinion, but it's usually only in specific areas like police brutality threads, libertarian threads, etc etc etc. But when you have people who's "schtick" it just being "that guy" in any/all threads, it gets old and fast. |

You seem ... Familiar. I didn't have time to check him out so I left it. I'm ASSuming NorCal_LEO didn't take his word for it, as guys will make that claim, get locked by newbie staff, then get the last laugh when we have to later unlock them because the claim was false. NorCal is obviously not new, so I'm sure he checked before hitting the lock button.  His last screen name here included the word "familiar." I think it is like the serial killers that secretly want to get caught and taunt the popo to prove how smart they are.
