A few lessons learned from last week:
1. Delta Airlines sucks at everything, from baggage handling, to airplane maintenance, and scheduling. 2. Old friends kick ass, like in every way possible (that should be obvious, but sometimes I tent to take such thing for granted). 3. There are many attractive ladies at Airports. 4. It would seem I have value. I am sure that there are many more lessons learned, but the above were the important ones. |

Finally getting a short break from poor cranky baby James, in about an hour I go get him from daycare for another doctors appointment. (the wheezing is gone but he is still bothered by the ear infections and the other cold symptoms). Hope he gets better soon Mark. What the eagle said. |

Fucking sinus pressure.
Steam helped some, but now I'm about to NyQuil the fuck out of it with a bourbon chaser. |

Now I remember why I always tried to go to work sick when the kids were young.
Screaming kids suck, they doubly suck when you have a bad sinus headache. |

What a fucking day. I just happened to be outside in the vicinity of our sanitary lift station when I noticed liquid begin to push out from the top of the pit. I shut off the pumps and opened it to find that one of the 3" vertical lines has sheared just below the 90. Emergency plumbing service call has been placed. Good thing I caught it before it got to "alarm level". That's when the little red light on top starts flashing. CEO already knows that I call that "my resignation light". View Quote This the same one yall had to dig up last year? |

His ears seem to be getting better, no inoculations today, have to go back in a week, doc still won't give him anything to reduce the spit-up even though he projectile spewed on her. |

I crossed a picket line once to keep working while the rest of the unioin was on strike. View Quote Strike nurses in CA get paid ridiculous amounts of money. There are days I wouldn't mind it, but then I think about the patient load, long hours, and having to shoot violent picketers, and decide it's better I don't. |

Delta used to be my nemesis, but in the past 5 years they have been doing pretty good by me. Of course the govt wants to fly me on American this year. |

Grabbed a london broil and some asparagus. I was going to make some garlic mashed taters, but I was lazy and just fired to grill. Light olive oil, kosher salt, and pepper on both the steak and the asparagus. Both warmed up over charcoal. It was yummy, but I ate alone. Everyone else had other plans. |

Starting to get calls from people locked out of their offices. What the fuck is wrong with these people? Every Goddamned week. Put keys on top of their door jams. They'd lose those within a week. Attach them with a chain? That's just short enough to not reach the lock. |
