He might not be the best, he's not even a Republican....but he's the only one that hasn't been part of the problem for his entire career. He's one of a small number the Rs put up that has actually done something in life rather than be a life long politician. I'd have gone with Ben Carson, but he's far too soft spoken. Very intelligent, no doubt....but doesn't come across strong enough to actually be an effective President. I'd like to have seen him as VP, though. I wasn't going to vote for Jeb, Cruz, Ryan, nor Kasich. As far as I am concerned, Trump had no competition....that's why he won. |

Way back when I was a freshman in college, a Political Science prof who was conservative had us read a little book called "The Gods of Antenna." It was opened my eyes to media bias. My view on the "news" has forever been jaundiced by that book. What was not as apparent back then is blatant today.

Conservative media is generally bad. It's largely tabloid hyperbole, conspiracy theories, deliberate half-stories, etc. (see Blaze, Breitbart, etc.).
WSJ used to be good. |

I stopped watching all tv news in 2008. Couldn't be happier. I keep up to date on everything I need to know on here and conservative news outlets.
I would be interested in a list of the socialist news stations' advertisers to boycott. |
