Is the upper tank of your toilet not big enough?

I had a Glock in a toilet tank for 14 months a few years ago.

theyre a lot less expensive than replacing your firearm collection

Depends on the specific safe and gun collection in question.

Adapt this idea to a picture frame or mirror and use the wall as storage.

Lol some of you are assholes. Poor OP. Here's your best choice. Take your rent money and go to vegas and put it on black twice then head home and buy a safe!

I was replacing a medicine cabinet one time (the type that sets into the wall). Unscrewed the old one and pulled it out. I could see the side of a cardboard box stuffed below the opening between the studs. Immediate excitement! Gotta be money and lots of it!!!............. I get it out of the wall and open it. It's full of 1950's era lingerie, heels, bras, garter belts etc., all in Man sizes. Like the heels would have fit a men's size 12. Figured a cross-dresser must have lived there in the 50's and was hiding his stash from the wife
Anyway, there's an idea for you.

Here's an idea that I have always thought I might try someday.
Get a old upright piano off Craig's list.
Gut it and turn it into a gun cabinet.
You could lock the keyboard cover shut so no one try's to play it, in fact if you removed the keys it would be a good place for hand guns and access to the locks.
Inside the back at the top long guns and in the bottom ammo cans.
Make the whole thing lock closed.
It would be as heavy as a piano when done.
Hide in plain sight......... Hum

My thinking as well.

Seems like a very humid area to store guns.

The air coming off your evaporator coil (indoor coil) when the AC is in use is around 90%RH.

Horrible idea.

Closer to 100% at its cool temperature.
That is why water is pouring off the evaporator.
The air was cooled to saturation.

Only after it mixes with warmer room air does the RH drop by dilution.
