For those who have an android device right now you can turn on the encryption:

Settings  > Personal > Security > Encryption > Encrypt tablet or Encrypt phone

It will take quite some time, so be prepared to give the thing 30 minutes to an hour. Also make sure you have it plugged in before you do it. It says you may lose some data but I didn't lose anything.

FBI- So, OK, I'm going to make a statement about how much we don't like the capabilities of this encryption. You then respond with something like "We iz reespondin' 2 da custumerz wishes, n stuff." Or something like that. Just make it sound good. You know, defiant and shit.

Google - I don't get it. After seeing the worldwide backlash from the Snowden data, you really want to make a public statement like THAT?

FBI - Yeah, well, I hear what you're saying but at this point it's more important to us that the sheep believe that this new format is secure. And lets be honest, we don't really give a damn if anyone likes us anyway. What are they going to do about it? Pffft.

Google - True. OK, so, shoot me a text when you drop the press release and I'll have something ready shortly after. In the meantime, I'm going to count this stack of money that you are allowing me to keep for my "continued cooperation".

Just reinforces my steadfast belief that the U.S. government is THE biggest threat to humanity today.
