I have some good news.  I was in touch with the lady who runs the shelter.  She is a very nice person and she sent me an e mail explaining that someone is coming to visit Buddy and that this person is interested in adopting him.

Meanwhile, I have to update my first post because now we have a canine fire mission.

Good deal!!  

I'm amazed and thankful for the people who run/work at those shelters.  The ones I've been in anyway.  They really care about these pets.
