Added a grey one to my cart. Kind of conflicted on what color I'm interested in though.
Any other good stuff on ebay before I decide if I wanna order one? |

At the original price this was a no brainer. Now that it's $30+$20 shipping...... not so much.

I think we can call this deal a bust at this point. Price of the jacket now at $29.99

Mine shipped and said it's currently in "Suzhou Ems, China" according to the USPS tracking number provided.

Any updates? For those who have received it already, thoughts after wearing for a while?

MY tracking # shows nothing for 3 weeks I think i got scammed. View Quote Are you trying it on the USPS website? Mine took a little while to show up. The estimated delivery on mine is Mon, Nov 17 - Tue, Dec 02 I've ordered stuff from China before and it could take 3-4 weeks sometimes, especially if it's a busy time of year. |

Mine showed up in Flushing, NY today.
It never showed up in Shanghai on the tracking list so don't expect it too. I'm keeping this thread bookmarked and will post some pictures of the jacket when it arrives. 11/17: Mine departed Flushing, NY. |

Mine left Flushing NY sometime Saturday. Which is good because I live in Iowa.
The anticipation is just killing me........ Of course its too damn cold to actually wear the jacket in Iowa. |

I got mine but it does not look anywhere near as good as the OP, the jacket I received says made in USA on the tag.
and the large I purchased is really a medium. I would have liked one of those parkas |

unfortunately whoever measured for the arms has gnome arms.... we're talking almost 3/4 length sleeves.... it's too bad - I like it. It fits my wife but I don't think she's going to wear it much... |

Has anyone tested it out to see how they do when water touches the jacket?

My wallet is laughing at you. I'm not an arctic explorer, I don't need a $500 jacket. For when I would wear this here in Ohio, I have no doubt I can stay warm layering this over a thermal shirt. 90% of the time I am outside in the winter I am working here on the farm and wearing bibs and a Carhartt. Wait until the OP figures out that Arc'Teryx has a lifetime warranty, you'll never replace yours, he will replace his multiple times. THEN let him think through that lifetime warranty and slowly come to the conclusion he can buy a used Arc'Teryx from Ebay for less than $100, and still have a lifetime warranty. THEN let him realize that he can buy that jacket from Ebay for less than $100 and if anything is wrong with it he can send it back to Arc'Teryx and they will ship him a brand new one for no cost. Ask me how I know this 5 times over. Drac + Atom together for less than $200. Yea...brains, they are useful for things other than feeding zombies. |
