Yup, good ol' Wilmington. While tragic and disgusting, this does not surprise me in regards to the youth of this city. My jail is right smack in the middle of the worst areas of the city. And all EMS in Wilmington wear body armor now. That goes for county paramedics and hospital EMS/ambulance crews.

It's location dependent, but when you see it you know; like pawn shops, check cashing, liquor stores, and chicken joints. You're in a shithole. Yes, I've been shot at, there's no honor among trash. Sunset Village ? 3x, and that's just one spot. Have to wait for Sheriff there, it's technically in the county. We don't call it The Trap for nothing. It's a shame you have to depend on them. They are remarkably slow when responding to shots fired calls and such. The Governor and legislature need to change the law so you and your coworkers can carry if you choose to. |
