Clinton ally gave $500K to wife of FBI agent on email probe

http://nypost.com/2016/10/24/clinton-ally-gave-500k-to-wife-of-fbi-agent-on-email-probe/

"Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, a longtime Clinton confidant, helped steer $675,000 to the election campaign of the wife of an FBI official who went on to lead the probe into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email system, according to a report.

The political action committee of McAuliffe, the Clinton loyalist, gave $467,500 to the state Senate campaign of the wife of Andrew McCabe, who is now deputy director of the FBI, according to the Wall Street Journal."

many here seem to think we will have a slow protracted slide to socialism and then to tyranny. I can not rid myself that once the BITCH gets into office the slide will go into hyperdrive.........HRC will make Evita  look like a saint in comparison. Hillary will use the full power of the Federal government to criminalize, castigate, castrate, and kill all of her opponents. It is a wonder that there are so many on both sides of the aisle that believe she is a viable candidate for the office of POTUS.

so, with Trump continuing to pound on the crimes of the Clintons  how soon is he going to die in a one car accident? He makes news, about the only way any HRC's crimes are going to be brought into the light is through Trump mentioning them on the stump. FOX has been covering them, but not so much on the rest of the media.

Feds step in to defend Clinton in Benghazi email suit

http://www.politico.com/blogs/under-the-radar/2016/10/clinton-benghazi-suit-justice-department-230231

"The U.S. government has taken over part of Hillary Clinton’s defense in a civil lawsuit contending that her use of a private email server caused a breach of security that resulted in the deadly attacks on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi in 2012.

A top Justice Department official filed a notice with a federal judge last week stating that most of the allegations against Clinton in the suit pertain to her duties as secretary of state, so the federal government will assume her defense on those claims."

our government does not care about following the rules that it made for themselves, why should we care about the rules they've made for us? yeah, they got the jails, they've got the guns, and courts but they have now become a totally illegal entity with no claim whatsoever over our loyalty, obedience, or respect.

for those who have been saying that the government can not do the things that some of us have projected/predicted they'd do, HOW DO YOU LIKE IT NOW?

Hillarys 33,000 emails might not be missing after all

http://nypost.com/2016/10/25/hillarys-33000-emails-might-not-be-missing-after-all/

"In a May interview with FBI agents, an executive with the Denver contractor that maintained Clintons private server revealed that an underling didnt bleach-clean all her subpoenaed emails, just ones he stored in a data file he used to transfer the emails from the server to Clintons aides, who in turn sorted them for delivery to Congress.

The Platte River Networks executive, whose name was redacted from the interview report, said PRN tech Paul Combetta created a vehicle to transfer email files from the live mailboxes of [Clinton Executive Services Corp.] email accounts [and] then later used BleachBit software to shred the vehicle, but the email content still existed in the live email accounts."

We Need to Clean This Up: Clinton Aides Newly Public Email Shows Concern

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/26/us/politics/wikileaks-hillary-clinton-emails.html?_r=0

"In a March 2015 interview, President Obama said that he had learned about Hillary Clintons use of a private email server as secretary of state the same time everybody else learned it, through news reports.

But that assertion concerned aides of Mrs. Clinton, who knew that the president himself had received emails from the private address, according to a hacked email made public on Tuesday by WikiLeaks.

We need to clean this up  he has emails from her  they do not say state.gov, Cheryl D. Mills, a top aide, wrote to John D. Podesta, another senior adviser, on March 7, 2015."

the generals, the congressmen, the senators, the media, the special agents, the governors, everybody who is supporting Hillary know what they are getting, they know the extent of her crimes. the depth of her contempt of the law, the things she has gotten away with, and they still want her as president. They stood by and watched what Obama has done, I can not expect that they'd do anything  different with her.........we are surely entering very dark days. There are no statesmen today, there are no patriots in our government today.........just lucre focused criminals looking to feather their own beds and maintain their undeserved pensions. I fear that even if TRump is able to get in nothing will change.  Sure, they gave lip service to confronting Obama, said that they'd take him on, but their response to him was paltry and anemic at best. If Trump gets in watch for both sides of the aisle to block his agenda, his attempts to start to rectify the problems. Their response to TRump will be the one that they should have given Obama. If Clinton gets in it will be smooth sailing for her, for two terms

I thought this was some sort of ploy by the Clinton camp until it became apparent that this stuff was 'found' as a result of investigations into Weiner's indiscretions with minors.

I'm guessing someone in the FBI took the opportunity to do a bit of parallel constructing here.

Not believing the Weiner connection, but am thinking the Kim.com (MegaUpload) connection is a better possibility. He would have a yuge chip on his shoulder, and has the hacking chops to pull this off. He also is friends with Assange.

Didn't get the sign in, not sure why.

WASHINGTON — Newly discovered emails from Hillary Clinton’s private server were found after the F.B.I. seized electronic devices once shared by Anthony D. Weiner and his estranged wife, Huma Abedin, a top aide to Mrs. Clinton, federal law enforcement officials said Friday.

The F.B.I. is investigating illicit text messages that Mr. Weiner, a former Democratic congressman from New York, sent to a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina. The bureau told Congress on Friday that it had uncovered new emails related to the Clinton case — one federal official said they numbered in the thousands — potentially reigniting an issue that has weighed on the presidential campaign and offering a lifeline to Donald J. Trump less than two weeks before the election.

In a letter to Congress, the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, said that emails had surfaced in an unrelated case, and that they “appear to be pertinent to the investigation.”

*snip Trump reply and dem propaganda on polls*

The Clinton campaign called on Mr. Comey to provide information beyond what was put forth in the letter.

“Director Comey’s letter refers to emails that have come to light in an unrelated case, but we have no idea what those emails are and the director himself notes they may not even be significant,” said John D. Podesta, chairman of Mrs. Clinton’s campaign.

He added: “It is extraordinary that we would see something like this just 11 days out from a presidential election.”

Mrs. Clinton, arriving Friday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, waved at members of the media gathered on the tarmac but ignored shouted questions.

There's a simple explanation to this and IMO the most likely one. Comey is hedging his bet.

Hillary wins? Sorry, after further investigation we find no wrong doing.
Trump wins? The investigation may continue but more importantly, Comey can keep his job and his freedom.

I think it's more likely that there is evidence of intent in the emails.  I think that, whatever drove Comey's decision before, he now regrets it.  By all accounts, he was a standup guy, and that reputation was destroyed.  If he has the chance to redeem himself, I believe it would be welcome.

I've seen the connections.  How hard would it have been for him to sit on this for 10 days?

No way Comey or any part of the FBI would go this route if they didn't have something substantial. They knew the shitstorm this would cause and they are no doubt aware of the repercussions should they not produce something of worth. They got crucified the first time, it is illogical to think they would invite a second ass whipping voluntarily.

I agree.  Knowing that the announcement alone could potentially decide the election, he would certainly err on the side of caution.  At the very least, they could have taken more time, if needed, to look through the emails.  They have seen enough of what they have to know what they have.

He may be a stand up guy but, he owes the Clintons a lot, look up his biography.........lots of connections there. This, what we are seeing is CYA time. Just might be that by covering his ass Comey might, just might be saving the Union.

I've seen the connections.  How hard would it have been for him to sit on this for 10 days?

ETA: I never really thought he was actually corrupted by Clinton.  I think he's just a coward that didn't want to be the one that decided the election and got Trump elected.

If he didn't pull the trigger on this one his agents, the career guys, would have leaked it. They are none too happy with him right now..............

Maybe.  Honestly, I don't care, as long as she loses.

Right, I would almost be happy with her being at large if she loses, is shamed (well that is relative, she knows no shame), and disgraced (again how do you disgrace someone who has no morals) and lives a long life with no one paying attention to her. Not answering her calls, not taking her advice, and basically ignoring her. Almost that is, optimum is her spending the next 20 years in prison getting sodomized by Big Bertha with a mop handle.

She's crushing Sanders in the polls, she will be the Democratic nominee.

You think they're gonna throw her in jail when she's that close to contending for POTUS? Noap.

They throw Illinois governors in prison all the time.

And rightly so, while we suck because of corruption, they throw them in jail and remove them from office.

This is poorly written, but I'm sure we're going to hear more on the subject.

Federal authorities reportedly battled over direction of Clinton email investigation

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/10/31/federal-authorities-reportedly-battled-over-direction-clinton-email-investigation.html

"The FBI and the Justice Department reportedly were at odds over how to investigate Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton as federal authorities announced they would take a new look at her emails.

The Wall Street Journal, citing people familiar with the matter, reported Sunday that senior law enforcement officials voiced skepticism several times of the strength of the bureau’s investigation into the Clinton Foundation, looked to condense the effort put into the probe and even told agents to limit their pursuit of the case."

I won't believe any story that says the DOJ supports any of these investigations in any way, shape or form.

They are corrupt and dishonest to the core.

Task force working in shifts to handle new email cache in Clinton probe

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/11/02/task-force-working-in-shifts-to-handle-new-email-cache-in-clinton-probe.html

"A special team of analysts has been activated to sort and sift through the cache of newly discovered emails that kick-started the dormant Hillary Clinton email probe, two intelligence sources confirmed to Fox News.

The sources say the multi-agency task force was re-engaged over the weekend, with analysts working overlapping shifts covering 16 hours a day to identify new classified material.

The objective is to gain more clarity on the records recovered from ex-Rep. Anthony Weiners computer -- to assess if intelligence sources and methods were compromised and to inform FBI Director James Comey in case he faces more pressure for answers on the state of the investigation."

This shit makes my head hurt.

DOJ official who penned letter on Clinton probe represented her campaign chairman

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/11/01/doj-official-who-penned-letter-on-clinton-probe-represented-her-campaign-chairman.html

"The Justice Department official in charge of informing Congress about the newly reactivated Hillary Clinton email probe is a political appointee and former private-practice lawyer who kept Clinton Campaign Chairman John Podesta out of jail, lobbied for a tax cheat later pardoned by President Bill Clinton and led the effort to confirm Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

Peter Kadzik, who was confirmed as assistant attorney general for legislative affairs in June 2014, represented Podesta in 1998 when independent counsel Kenneth Starr was investigating Podesta for his possible role in helping ex-Bill Clinton intern and mistress Monica Lewinsky land a job at the United Nations.

Fantastic lawyer. Kept me out of jail, Podesta wrote on Sept. 8, 2008 to Obama aide Cassandra Butts, according to emails hacked from Podestas Gmail account and posted by WikiLeaks."

Justice Department official gave Clinton camp 'heads up' about testimony

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/11/02/justice-department-official-gave-clinton-camp-heads-up-about-testimony.html

"A Justice Department official with close ties to Hillary Clinton Campaign Chairman John Podesta sent him a "heads up" last year to warn that lawmakers might question witnesses about the presidential candidate's private emails, messages released Wednesday by WikiLeaks show.

Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik, the official now in charge of informing Congress about the revived Clinton email probe, gave a personal status update to the Clinton campaign in the email sent May 19, 2015.

The message from his Gmail account to Podesta was titled: Heads up.

There is a [House Judiciary Committee] oversight hearing today where the head of our Civil Division will testify, Kadzik wrote. Likely to get questions on State Department emails. "

DU having a hissyfit:

By now, The American People should have been fed up. I know I am - to my eyeballs with the habitual and pathological interrogations, pursuits, witch-hunts, smear campaigns and crusades of pettty GOP character assassins in hot pursuit of Hillary. This has been the trademark and raison d'etre of rabid right psychopaths for 30 years. We've seen time and time again that they are willing to throw incalculable amounts of our money, the interests of the American People and business of our country overboard for no other reason than to satisfy the demented and perverse obsession they have with pinning something - anything - on Hillary Clinton. It's long been nothing but a counter-productive and insane farce. And, now, the most obscene, counter-productive and insane farce of all time: Their Candidate For President - could very possibly be handed the future of this country on a silver platter, just like everything else in his super, over-privileged, spolied rottern life. And it's very clear that he's wasting not a minute to use this obscenity to gin up his lynch mob of crackpot, grammar school dropouts into another grotesque display of utter madness - lathering them into a blood lust which may herald the literal demise of this country in 12 days. It's TIME: The Constitution provides broad latitide to the President and the pardoning power of the office. It's time to shut these animals down - at long last - and put Trump's Mad Dogs back in their cage. Obama needs to issue a full, unconditional and absolute pardon to Hillary Clinton for any and all allegations, past, present and future relevant to her tenure as Secretary Of State and do it now. If Trump's Chumps want to keep frothing at the mouth and take to the streets, I would welcome that. Let them take up their beef with the National Guard. I, for one, am sick and tired of having to share The World's Great Experiment in Democracy with those who so thoroughly despise it, despise the person we elected President and - indeed- despise over half of the American People themselves. Their level of toxic, hate-fueled rhetoric which routinely and recklessly spews from their profoundly disturbed candidate and the phalanx of lunatics in their "party" has accomplished but one thing: to put the rest of us on final notice. They see America as nothing more than an opportunity to bully, intimidate, persecute and abuse anyone who doesn't goose step to their tune - just to get their bloody hand on the levers of power and have it all their way. Indeed, The Republican Party isn't a political organization. It hasn't been for years. It's a psychiatric diagnosis..plain and simple. The bottom line for me: Simple. They need to go.

Is not the mere presence of State Department e-mails on Weiners computer not a criminal case?

Anything beyond that is just icing on the cake.
