Take your uncalled-for sophomoric comments somewhere else. You are 50 and this is what you post in a serious thread? |

Holy crap! If I ever work up the courage to show this pic to my wife, I know she will very much appreciate the fact that Meg's tactical pants "flare," sort of. ETA:

great pics on the cavarms sight.....
how the hell do you guys get such gorgeous employees? she ain't the first... eTA: watched that video about 400 times already. wow. |
Well at least it keeps this thread on page 1 where it belongs. |

It's rare that you see the word "sophomoric" used. It's a good word and should be used more. |

Happy heller day y'all!
..... it's good to smell liberty every once in a while, no? |
Ah, yes. Happy Heller day indeed.
BTW, thanks to the video I was able to trim the flashing of my lower in about 5 minutes. That is my third CAV ARMs lower. It joins a green brother and one of the original CAV lowers. |
If they put all the FFLs and Manufacturers out of business, how much does Heller really mean? |
I'm going to Phx and will stop by Cav Arms, I'll prpbably purchase several more med kits as I want one in each vehicle.
I had the opportunity to examine one of their custom lowers on a rifle made by Morrison Precision. Bernie Morrison (Ret 5th Group) owns a rather large firearme machine shop. His barrels are absolutely terrific, I have one on a Savage. Anyway Bernie chose Cav Arms to custom make a lower for a rifle he will use for Prarie Dog hunting on a trip to S Dakota, they do a terrific job. I'll do the same next year. I'm toying with the idea of having one of their lowers on an Arms Tech upper. |
Yeah, I was optimistic, yet still worried. But for one Justice, I'd be wearing a black armband today. That I'd have to construct myself, because nobody seems to make them. I had black construction paper ready, just in case. By the way, Ed, any chance of getting black armbands (w/ the BFL, of course) in the Arfcom |
and liberty is a damn fine smell indeed |
...join forces? |
They had to have seen that one coming. |

Just picked up my two CavAid lowers from my FFL
and Heller was WON Things are looking up - Now we need to keep supporting Cav Arms while things are on a roll............. And that shithead that was picking on Meg needs to be on the wrong end of a mag dump....(and she knows how..) IMHO YMMV |
Sorry, but it feels like this shit has dragged on forever. In the interest of justice: FREE CAVALRY ARMS! |

VERY nice "third hand" technique for holding the receiver while trimming. I also rather enjoyed the "aerial" views of the process as well. Guess it's time for me to order a Cav-Aid receiver too. |

Believe it or not, Shawn and company's situation came up during a conversation in Phuket, as did the BW raid/confiscation. Many beers were had in support of Shawn and Erik, from those that have no US Supreme Court to affirm their rights... Or take them away by 1 vote.
Here's to Shawn and the guys: |
so 123 days so far and they still have not been charged with anything? |
This is truly a f**ked up deal...
4 plus months trying to find wrongdoing on the part of CavArms. If they had 'proof or cause', well then cough it up. This fiasco sure makes the ATF look like a bunch of asses. |
I have no current "need" for one, but once those receivers are returned - they will have a unique history of surviving being ATF'ed (I can't wait to see the custom stamping on them.
I have been gone from home for a bit - hopefully I will have a message on my machine tonight from my friendly FFL. My wife just does not understand why I am currently preoccupied with getting a bigger safe. |
Did anything ever come of the asset disposal listing in the WSJ?
+1 for the curious... have their arms been officially forfeited (I assume that's a no) and where are they at in fighting this case? |
The question was asked directly in another thread. Russell replied to it directly by saying their attys were working on it. Not sure [exactly] what that means, but it may be one of those things the attys don't want them to be as forthcoming with.
ETA: Nevermind, it was pg.24 of this thread:

This process will likely take OVER A YEAR. We will not have news for weeks and months at a time. |
That sucks. |
The Wheels Of "Justice" grind very slowly. Except when they're stampeding through your shop, assembling unassembled firearms, misidentifying guns, scooping up everything into huge piles, trucking off entire inventory and generally looting and ransacking your business under an oh-so-conveniently-sealed warrant/blank-check. Oh sure - they'll spend weeks and MONTHS taking their good-old time responding to your attorney requests and filing paperwork - AFTER they've seized every firearm you own (and even some you don't own). But how much time do they spend actually DOCUMENTING what they were looting from your shop? Pffft.... |
Yes, I just had a to cut another large check to the Law Firm handling the matter. The fun part is, that I'm going to have to sell most of my guns when (if) I get them back to recoup the expense of getting them back... |
Can't you hit the ATF for damages and legal cost in civil court? If you win in court, you've got a ruling that says they seized your stuff for no valid reason. You'll have an especially strong argument if they don't unseal that warrant and never even provide any explanation at all of why they seized anything in the first place. There is no way in hell you guys should have to pay a dime for this in a free country. Or in the USA. Even if they aren't completely one and the same anymore. |
Any word on a LPK buy for these lowers? Just picked mine up yesterday.
This sucks! I know that it is within the rules of a civil forfeiture, but the rules are against any sense of AMERICAN fairness and justice, as it puts the burden on the owner of the goods and not the agency I know your legal expenses are HUGE and we all wish we could do more to help......which reminds me:www.jobrelatedstuff.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=696914&page=3 Please, buy stickers for out CavArms' legal defense fund A check for $850 will be sent NOTE: A check for $1525 ($850 from 1asterisk's knife project + 675 donation from Scott W,Bloomingsdale,NJ) The $850 was not sent till 7/11/08 due to my never getting to the bank/post office on the 4th of July weekend |
