Weird. If I search by "Threads started", I get this from March, 2001.

Either I don't know how to use search function as the coder intends, or it doesn't work that far back, or some of my posts have been deleted and/or marked to be unavailable to the search function.
Interestingly, the search function doesn't find posts of technical content I posted from the early days, but trivial stuff it does find. |

Mine was actually on the AK forum (maybe AK.net?) portion, talking about a possible source of underfolder rear trunions to convert a ban era WASR to an underfolder.
I hung out on the AK forums in those days cause I had some AK kits to build |

Found mine, it was about my first build. I had just bought a J&T post-ban upper and pinned it to a CMT lower. I came here looking for comments on the quality of J&T and CMT.
I had a habit of forgetting to renew my subscription so I jumped at the first offering of lifetime memberships.
