Me too.  I think her character  is a foolish nitwit.

Yes,

He's also the guy Eli and Muller report to and the one who had his warehouse raided.

True.

I find the flashbacks to Nucky's childhood a bit slow.  They don't reveal much about his character that the viewer didn't already know.

Ah, the occupational hazards of working for a sociopathic cokehead with a short-man complex.

But why does Capone bludgeon his toadie to death?

Not sure what to make of the rejuvenated Nucky Thompson/Steve Buscemi.

It's a pretty amazing make-up job taking 40 years off his face, at the same time, its pretty creepy looking...
like the skin on his face is stretched tighter than a drum and could split if he sneezed too hard.

Looks like that when Eli was banging VanAlden/Muellers wife, he was so shitfaced at the time that he didn't remember it
and seeing the calender with the King of Norway triggered a response.

While I enjoy the machinations of Boardwalk Empire, I found myself fascinated by Nucky's early life.  I would really love a spin off that simply followed him throughout the years.

King of Norway.

best episode of the season!

the mueller dinner party was great! And the guy playing Young Nucky was spot on in mannerism and speach.

Gillian is screwed because Dr. Cotton believes that insanity is caused by infections. According to Dr. Cotton, the removal of teeth or organs leads to the cure of insanity. So, it explains why the crazy woman was cut opened at the hospital. The future for Gillian isn't so bright. She is probably going to escape or face the scalpel in the end.

Thought my prediction was wrong. But then last minutes he gets it. Not far off on the time.

At one point I thought he was going to shoot the doctor in the head while they were talking with the child.

now we just have to figure out who the new kid with Nucky is and what he's up to.

So much for witness protection, Eli, gets bus fare. Van Alden lead. poisoning

Nelson Catherine van Alden?

Catherine? this guy gets more tragically humorous by the second....

As for Chalky, I can't believe he didn't just plug the Dr while he had the chance. I certainly wouldn't have gave up my gun on the hopes he'd follow his word.

I think the time Nucky spent with the bar broads could have been better used to  tell more Eli story, or at least hear Daughter Maitland sing.....

I'd be interested. Also if anybody has information on future Powerball numbers.
Would consider partnership or cash.

If Capone mentioned that Luciano was going to kill Nucky  does it not logically make sense that Sally wheat was killed in Cuba at Lansky's direction, either to distract Nucky at a critical moment or to prevent her from bringing help/profit from Cuba?

Wont Eli warn Nucky of what is coming? Will Nucky believe him?

Why is the laughing moron (Doyle) in charge of nuckys operation?

Chalky asked why Doyle was in charge when he came back . Nucky said his personality fit .The new place (strip club) .

Capone already warned  Nucky  about Luciano last episode.
Prediction:
Eli  ,Doyle, Nucky will all survive the end of the show.
The producers mentioned that it's not based on true and accurate accounts. So anything could happen.

in real life Eli, Nucky lived long past the 30s

It makes sense, but I don't believe that Sally was set up by Lansky due to the series of events that cost her life and the response of the officer who mentioned she was some American.

Doyle plays the fool but he gets shit done and so far, he's a survivor.
