This guy is dangerous and a sleeper. I don't think he gets enough credit as being a real runner in this, but I think people were caught of guard. He is promising alot of free shit which is hitting home to the millennials who think that is great. Need to watch this guy closely and hope he has a skeleton in the closet.

As stated earlier, if he does not get the nomination he needs to run third party.  Ross Perot the Democrat nominee.

Probably none. Most of his supporters are millenials who are as clueless about economics and the real world as he is.

I hope the election is between Rand Paul and Bernie Sanders.

Win-win for me.

I actually hope he gets the nomination.
I think a R would have a better chance against him than Hillary, and if not and he wins, we can finally (hopefully) get some people to wake up when we go flying off the cliff instead of continually sliding towards it.

Y'all said Obama was an empty suit, super-liberal youngin with no experience who'd never get a chance.

We elected a socialist in 2008.  We're gonna elect another in 2016.

Yep, millennials love him. And he's promoting free college. It would cost $750 billion over 10 years. His plan is to tax investments

In some way I hope he gets the nomination.  That'll put an end to any debate about the Dems real agenda.  It might also put an end to the question about whether the US has jumped the shark to socialism, too.

I have been known to be wrong though.

This is where I'm at with him, at the moment.

Like Ron Paul, he's pulling in hoards of super enthusiastic supporters at campaign stops, he's more of an ideological purist than the mainstream candidates in his party, he's pulling in a surprising amount of money mostly from individuals (small donations, but a lot of them - 250,000 of them last quarter, and it wasn't even a full quarter). And like Ron Paul, he's mostly being ignored by inside the beltway types as being a non-entity. And I think they're right, honestly.

But...we'll see!

Yep,he's popular here in Iowa as well.

The ones that were Hillary supporters have jumped over to him.All age groups as well-from young single mothers to middle age farmers to WW2 vets.

Reaffirms my belief that there is no hope for this country........

Actually my biggest fear is that the reverse of that ticket runs... Fauxcahontas for Prez and Bernie the Red for VP.

History is on the Republicans' side anyway.  There hasn't been a Democrat POTUS elected after a two-term Democrat president since Van Buren.

True, after a two-term. Truman was elected after 4 wins by FDR.

If Bernie moderated his stance on guns (dropped the idea of magazine limits and bans on "assault weapons"), I could support him.

He won't be able to do anything, really, if Congress stays in Republican hands.

That was my thought as well. Greece is in terrible conditions due to similar socialist policies, but the Sanders  supporters can't see the forest through the trees.

I've said this for years...

If the D's and the commies would leave guns alone, completely, we would be a socialist country. If Bernie wants to win, I would tell him to back completely off of guns. When asked say, "I believe in freedom and equality. Every American has a right to own a gun of their choosing. We must all share the burden of securing freedom so that we may all share in the wealth of this great nation."

Drop the mike and walk off.

He'd win in a landslide.
