Jellyfish - "New Mistake" (1993)

I've seen a ton of acts coming through NYC, this band still stands out as one of the best I have ever seen. They only put out two albums before splitting up, "Bellybutton" (1990) and the amazing "Spilt Milk" (1993). I would still pay out an outrageous and irrational amount of money to see them reunite at least once to perform live.

They aren't. Stuart killed himself in 2001.

I think this was their last album, which was great. 'The Buffalo Skinners'

Another band that never quite fit format, their album "Trampoline" (1998) is probably the best example of this, The Mavericks.
"Save a Prayer" (1998)

"Dance The Night Away" (1998)
