Not likely... Even in the peak stupidity, people walked past bricks at $75 around here. More and more places are raising retail prices. Soon the scalpers will loose interest and the market will stabilize..

Nice rant jack off. I use my .22 stash on a .45 conversion (use to be cheaper that way) to practice. As an aside, we do shoot 'fucking squirrels' here (plus gophers and an occasional coyote at close range. Not to mention (not that I ever would) take a deer at close range when necessity dictated

. Just saying, it's one of those good old all around rounds ..........

I don't need any .22lr but it still annoys me that if I wanted some I'd have to buy it from neckbeard at >$0.10 a round. I haven't seen any around here for almost a year. But I won't wait in line for it so I guess I can only blame myself.

Lately I've seen a sprinkling of CCI and Winchester 22 on the net but zero Federal stuff. Zero low end match stuff either. Is it possible that some manufacturers have re tasked some machines to make other calibers? Is such a thing even possible?

Academy Sports gets .22 ammo almost every day now. Bricks, sleeves, single boxes whatever. I buy CCI Mini Mags at $6.50 per 100 and Federal Automatch for $17 per brick whenever they have it.

Sucks some places still aren't getting any.

I really have no sympathy for the whiners anymore. When people go plinking with their 22s they go through hundreds if not thousands of rounds per outing. If your idea of a stockpile of 22 was putting away a couple thousand rounds and now you've run out well then tough shit, you should have done the math and put more away and done without beer a little more often. The fucking Feds have been talking about taxing or banning all types of ammo damn near out of anyone's price range for decades and you still didn't take the hint and be proactive and stock up. What's next, you gonna be shocked when QE stops and magically inflation goes through the roof too. Damn, some people just go through life with blinders on.
