Iron out little things like location, dates, and round counts early....then open registration up early as possible. I like shooting in Texas and would love another option! |

I'm the guy who started the only monthly 3 Gun match in Texas In 2003. That I knew of Or could find. In that time of almost pre internet . The Good folks in Corpus, had a 5 th Sunday 3 gun. Tac Pro had and still has 3 Gun match twice a year. I could not find a match I could attend locally so I started my own. With adding a 3 Gun match with The Copperas Cove Pistol Club. This club, Still holds a great 3 gun match every month as well as two pistol matches. Many of the 3 Gunners you know in the central Texas area. shot the monthly 3 Gun Matches at Cove. Many still do. It's grass roots at its best, and 3 Gun In central Texas has grown! With the other large 3 Gun Matches that have been taking place in Texas I have not felt the need to run a large match in Texas. I took 20+ years for my 3 Gun dreams to come true. I’m not getting any younger. But I’m not ready to let go of that dream. |
