Someone recommended a rtb.com barrel and I am not familiar with this place as a manufacturer. Anyone have experience with the barrels made by rtb in-house?

Good company. Can't speak for the barrel though. I only have one of their 22s.

Agreed. First purchase was a .22 upper. Now my favorite place 🙂

Unsure what was in the upper; might have an rtb barrel already. But .22 does not require the same barrel as 5.56 (in my use case) so looking for more experience. Thanks.

I have one 16” pencil profile RTB with a few hundred rnds thru it.
Other than being over gassed It has been fine.

I'm pretty sure they're made by Ballistic Advantage.

Not per website chat CSR. Specifically asked if made in house and s/he confirmed.

ETA - I want to patronize these guys to the extent possible; just unsure of quality.

ETA2 - per RTB CSR - they offer BA barrels and also mfg in-house. My comment above was per a generic inquiry, then I drilled-down on a specific item to find specs (metallurgy, testing, etc) not listed on their website and learned that this specific item is BA item available as RTB item (I assume standard OEM arrangement).

I'm in the SBR sub to avoid GD nonsense  ... if I just need a reliable shooter and not tweakable gas for hand load SBR coolness, would you recommend?

I have two .22lrs and 2 300BLK barrels all good!

Eta I think the 22s are made by CMMG and the 300bo by Ballistic Advantage.

Thanks!

I just added a second edit to my post above [eye roll] that barrels are not BA ... you are correct about .300bo barrels. Also true is that RTB mfgs their 'own' barrels in-house. So RTB offers both BA and RTB barrels. Unsure about others.
