Mine is a 4 hole. Today I loaded a couple hundred rounds of .223, plus threw a bunch of brass in the FART about an hour ago |

Wonder of wonders, a little gunshop I visited on a roadtrip this weekend had dillon stuff!! Found a 30carbine powder through expander and a few spare parts I needed for very reasonable prices. They also had little crow WFT’s for less than midway/brownells so I grabbed a 300BO.

Happy to receive my smokes powder coat order.
No problems at all with order. Great service. Last item to get is an oven. Maybe a refurb kit for my old Herters pot. |

Shot 180 rds .223 thru my Aug. Fed, fired, ejected perfectly
Then shot 240 rds of my blue powder coated 45ACP at my Salute Targets falling plate rack. Not a single hiccup Attached File When done I looked at base of the plate rack and noticed my 45 ACP bullets turned into something looking like nickels Attached File Sorted brass at the range this time. These were my meager range pickups before I started shooting my own ammo Attached File Then spent 75 mins or so and decapped the 45ACP brass I shot and brass from the last range trip to get it FART ready. That brass is nasty. Been reloaded multiple times, the insides are caked with carbon, primer pockets are grungy. |

Good press, had to rebuild mine a couple of years ago.
The pivot points had worn and the linkage needed replacing. Turrets for the 3 hole set up may start to be an issue, I think Lee has discontinued them. |
|
|
200 cast/PC 9mm loads completed. FART ran on range pickups. May toss some 308Win brass I picked up, one had a cracked neck so it may be a bunch of range discards from another reloader. If they appear trimmed/deburred instead of once fired I will toss all of them. They are all R/P brass so they aren't brand new for sure.

Did a bit of shooting today because the weather was nice.
Found that my 32 acp reloads with GFL brass will not chamber. None of them. The only headstamp that has issues. I plunk tested every loaded round I have just to be certain. But, they fit and fire just fine in my 32 S&W long revolver. At least I do not have to take them apart. |

Had some running around to do today and stopped by 2 reloading places just to 2. 1st place was out of almost everything. 2nd place I scored to boxes of cci srp for $50/ea. Wasnt happy about the price but for whats all going on? $50 is better than $150. They had 8# jugs of Reloder 23 but were asking $320 (+ tax... aka $30). So I passed.

I deprimed about 100 .223 cases from the sorting I did recently. I found not just a few LC 06 cases with plated primers. These are legit, still crimped cases with red sealant. There were also a few (I didn't check the years on them) that either had only minimal sealant or none at all, but still legit LC, crimped brass. I was surprised enough by these that I set them aside; I'll get pictures of them soon.
I had a few FMC cases, too. These had smallish flash holes. And like oldish PMC cases, their primers tended to deform pretty easily, making them a little more work to get the dang primers all the way out. It felt good to actually do something with my hardware... I also got not-so-good news from my doctor today. I have a tear in my left hamstring, which makes moving around kinda challenging at times. I'm off work for "a while," and I'm looking at PT at least... I hope, tomorrow or Wednesday, to see if I can stand for long enough, comfortably enough to load safely. |

Wet tumbled that nasty 45ACP from the range yesterday. After 3 hours water was dark gray to almost black. Didn't get the bling it was so nasty but close enough.
Sorted some wet tumbled 9mm brass by head stamp Decapped another output bin full of 9mm brass Opened and then finger fucked my new Photo Escape powder dies for Dillon powder measures. I have 2 1/2 five gallon buckets of .223 brass, some once fired, some I reloaded once or twice. Want to sort that and sell off the once fired but since it's tumbled and sized, hard to tell the once fired from the reloaded brass. If I shot up what I have loaded would have 4 buckets or so total. Like to get down to more manageable 1 to 1.5 buckets full of .223 brass. |

Here are pictures of my "plated primer" LC brass:
Attached File Attached File I wound up with over 35 of these. Nice, intact crimp and LC's red sealant. Attached File I only had a few of these '08 cases with plated, crimped primers and no sealant. It's kind of hard to actually see the crimp, but it's there. On my screen (I'm running Google Chrome on a Mac) I only get a "image missing" icon, but the pictures show up if you copy the link and open it... Weird. Edit: Well the pictures show up now on my iPad... Weirder. Edit 2: For some reason, the pictures don’t show up on a desktop but they do on my iPad...I tried everything that I could to make ‘em show on my Mac without success. So I’ve changed them from “.jpeg” to “.jpg” in case that means anything to the site’s software. Edit 3: Apparently the name change (on my web host) didn't work. So I also uploaded them to the ARFCOM image server. And (for now) they show up... |

Loaded 56 .44 Magnum with 240 gr cast SWC over of H110 on my trusty Rock Chucker Supreme.

sorted some 9mm brass.
Started sorting once fired vs non once fired .223 brass that's all mixed together. My reloaded brass was trimmed to about 1.745" so easy to tell it was one of my reloads vs a once fired by putting it in a Dillon case gauge. Another tool I use is a primer pocket gauge. If the primer pocket is crimped means I didn't reload it which means it's once fired |

Traded a friend some factory 556/9mm for a ton of 300bo brass, projectiles, and a bunch more 556 brass in the mix as well. He had been collecting components the past few years and decided he was never going to reload, so I offered a deal.

Cranked out 100 230FMJ RMR .45ACP and swaged some .223 brass just so I could post in this thread today.
Gotta load some primer toobs tonight. I might just clean and process some 30-30 and .308 brass just so I can post tomorrow. Gonna take Friday off work to empty out some cases at the range. |

Bent the dang thing on some crimped 556 brass. Afterwards i went ahead and decapped a couple hundred cases without issue. There's about 2K more to go before I can switch the press over to 9mm. I have some combinations in that caliber that I'm anxious to work on. |

I worked out how I should go about moving my D750 from the Quick Change Inline Ultramount and putting it on the storage mount so I can put the Rock Chucker on the active mount. My work space is cramped - too much stuff, really - so it's going to be "a process." I will almost certainly have to take the case feeder bowl off the top of the unit to be able to get it off the mount because of the shallowness of the bench and the pegboard on the back. No big deal, but I want to have the steps laid out before I head into the work.
I'm going to set up the RC so I can start sizing a bunch of .223/5.56mm brass. Not only do I have several hundred I'm in the process of depriming, but I have a whole lot more already clean (and mostly decrimped) that I can start processing to be loadable. Once I get some other stuff managed today, I hope to see if the work-mate-clone and my Thumler's Tumbler will coexist well. Maybe I can start cleaning some of the not-clean brass I'm depriming... |

I am a new owner of a Glock 19-5, and have been working on a 9mm load that will cycle the new Glock as it should. I have recently started loading Berrys 124 gr. plated bullets, that I like very much. I started with 4.2 grains of W231 powder and found that to be under powered and caused a few jams. So have gone to 4.4 grains and that seems to work well enough. I still consider these plinking loads.
I started vibrating a batch of about 500 9mm casings tonight and will let those run for about 10 hours. Fortunately I have a very good supply of powder and primers, so I am happy rolling my own ammo! |

My order of 9mm bullets from DG came in yesterday. Unfortunately my 556 from RMR is going on an adventure. Started in Idaho, went to Washington, then Utah, now its in Texas. Was suppose to be delivered yesterday. Idk when it will get here to az. Thank god usps was in charge of the ballots.

It was like Xmas here.
Brown truck came and brought my midway order. Some 55gr FMJs, some 77gr SMKs, and 100 pieces of lapua 223 brass. Also, a dueling tree for the back yard, some tumbling media and a tool kit. Then, the fedex truck came, brought me my dillon order, cartridge conversions, primer tubes, and a new big old tumbler! Started tumbling some brass. Maybe I will go organize the bench now. woohoo. |

Made it to the range today. Shot sone 9mm and 380 handloads, all accurate and reliable.
Despite it being a nice, sunny Friday afternoon the range was completely empty. I guess a lot of shooters are feeling the ammo panic pinch. Fine by me, I recovered all my brass and sone assorted pistol cases left by previous shooters. |

I got the Dillon shifted off the bench and the Rock Chucker set up, then I started sizing .223 brass.
I got the die set without much hassle, and proceeded to size 100 rounds, then I took a break. A little while later I sized another 100, but I started hurting pretty bad then (torn muscle, bad hip, etc....) so I stopped there for the day. I have another 100 cases all lubed and ready to size, and what looks like a bajillion more in containers on the shelf, mocking me. I used my Hornady case headspace comparator to monitor how closely I was keeping my shoulders to where I wanted. For mixed brass, I did really well; generally +/- 0.0015 (mostly +), with a couple that went as far as +0.0025. I'm looking forward to running more brass through the RC. It's sort of zen, just placing and pulling cases. I may eventually get or make a case kicker...I like the Inline Fab tool but for $60, it's kind of 'spensive... |

Cleaned up the bench a little.
Finished sizing the new 7.62x39 brass I got with my new dillion cartridge conversion. Way better and faster. Powder coated some 75gr boolets and sized them to .312. Thought about loading up some 7.62x39. Went to go check the powder charge and wouldn't you know it, my gempro 250 will not tare. Great... Maybe I can upgrade to one of those autotrickler setups for the FX120 thing. |
