Well my 500 7.62 brass showed up yesterday. So ended up depriming and full leangth size 250 of them. Next cut the primer crimp and trim to leangth next.

Cleaned all my Creedmoor and Grendel brass. First ultrasonic then tumbler.  Setup my new InlineFab QC mount for both presses,  wish I had bought one of these a while back. Measured and determined the amount to bump the shoulder back on the Grendel brass. Dialed in my Grendel dies in the single stage and sized, no need for trimming. Primed and powdered cartridges using CFE-223 to ladder test.

Produced these.

I started sorting and depriming the brass I brought home from the range yesterday.  It was “way more” than the amount of brass my son and I emptied.

One case that wound up coming home with me was a 50 AE case.  It astounded my son.  He has big fingers - really long and large diameter fingers.  He put that case on his thumb and it fit!    Good times.

Spent some time diddling with the priming system on my Auto Breech Lock Pro with moderate success. Then busted out 50 rounds of 9mm. Good times.

Resized some .223.  Sorted/cleaned some 9MM and .40 S&W brass.

Used up the .223 ammo I loaded late last week.  Filled up ten 30 round AR15 magazines in preparation for a range trip to sight in function test a couple newly built AR15's.

Deprimed, Tumbled, Resized, Tumbled, Trimmed, Chamfured, and flash hole deburred ~500 pieces of .223 today....on a single stage.

Only 700 more pieces to go.

I will say the Giraud makes this SIGNIFICANTLY easier.

Spent a hour cursing my bullet feeder trying to get it tuned 100%. Managed to get 500rds of 9mm Major loading up after answer still had a couple upsidedown bullets.

Decapped about 150 303 brit cases, then looked at the box of about 1000 9mm cases and decided those can wait for a rainy day.

Tested out various .45 acp loads in my 1911.  As usual, this pistol was very accurate with factory ammo.  My reloads, not so much.

Looks like a new development cycle is in my future.

I sorted a couple freezer bags full of range pickup brass today.

I ended up with approximately

125 .223
250 .45
300 .40
400 9mm
125 .380

to toss in my sorted-but-not-cleaned bins.

I also bagged some small quantity finds:

27 .308
8 7.62x39
5 .44 Magnum

And I found these guys to toss in my “miscellaneous” bin:
3 10mm
2 7mm Magnum
1 6.5 Grendel

Best of all, all the brass above cost me $0.00

.40 brass has been walnut tumbled to start working up reloads

I came to the full realization that i'm a reloading / gun junk hoarder.

Continued cleaning and organizing the reloading room today threw away stuff that was either pure garbage or would never get used for a solid 2hrs this morning.

Nobody would believe i did anything.

I finished depriming my range brass the other day, and today I started tumbling it.  I also experimented a little with time and reusing the solution.

I got good results with the .38/.357 brass I ran for 2 hours, but only OK results for the tarnished 9mm that was in with it.  The revolver stuff was sort of a "control" to see if it got clean while the 9mm cases were the real object of the experiment.  They were horrible going in (I'll post some before/after pictures later), but only "clean" coming out.  Usable, but nowhere near the bling level of the rimmed cases that tumbled with them. I may run them again with a bunch of other 9mm to see if they get shiny with a second run.

I ran a batch of about 175 .45 cases for 1 hour, and they were all nice and shiny, but some primer pockets weren't fully cleaned.  Only some - Winchester cases had that old characteristic three-way soot deposit at the bottom of the pocket, while others like PPU and Federal were really clean.  Included in this batch were some Browning black-nickel cases; they came out good and clean but still black - I didn't hurt the nickel, but I didn't expect to.  There were also 10 small primer cases in the batch.  All the small primer pockets were good and clean, so I'm not sure what's up with Winchester's primers...  Two or three of the small primer cases were Blazer brass, while the rest were Federal.  The Fed cases were a mix of "Federal" and "FC" stamps.

I'm finishing up the evening with a small load of .40 S&W along with some .308 and some 7.5x54 cases that snuck into my brass bucket disguised as .308 cases.  There shouldn't be any problems with those, but I tossed in a 50AE case because it needed cleaning too.  I'm interested in whether a rifle or pistol case sticks in that one.

Started loading 45acp about 5am since i have insomnia.

Went to get doughnuts at 8 see people setting up gargae sale up the road. I quit going to garage sales years ago because people want new prices for old crap.

On the way back with doughnuts i see motorcycle parts at garage sale ..... i'll stop for gun stuff and motorcycle stuff you never know.

Motorcycle parts were a bust but i found this scale guy sold it to me for $10 ...... you have to do the math it doesn't weigh in grains but it certainly seems accurate and consistent against my dillon beam scale.

Loaded another 100 after this blurry pic

My SoCal S&W bully bullet feeder came in (for pistol and rifle).  After losing my shit trying to set the hornady bullet feeder die I got it to work. Ran through 500 rounds of 147gr 9mm like butter.  WAY quicker than my 550. I didnt see the need for the roller handle when I had the 550 but I think I'll need to change out for 1 on the 650.   I'll prob try 223 tomorrow.

Last night - finished a multi-powder charge ladder for 230 gr .45 ACP.  Charge ladders loaded using WW231, Bullseye and Titegroup.

This morning - completed deals on the EE for a few thousand pieces of brass.  As much as I love to build my brass stockpile with free range pickups, there are a bunch of calibers I want to reload but find very little, if any, brass.  So now I'm set on .40, .380, & .357 plus a little .30-30, 7.62x39 and 6.8 to add to the brass fort.

Don't know if this is the right spot for this, but I scored on a BRAND NEW RCBS Rock Chucker reloading kit this weekend for $75.00.

It's old but never used, still new in the box.  I had the powder measure, scale, press, trickler, 30-06 dies and deburring tool.  It also came with the 4th Edition of the Hornady Manuela and the 1st edition of the Nosler manual.

For $75, I couldn't have gone wrong....

Shot charge ladders with W231, Bullseye and Titegroup with 230 gr .45 ACP loads.

Looks like Bullseye is going to work well for what I want.  Particularly nice since I bought 1 lb of Bullseye during the panic when I knew nothing about powder and supplies were scarce.

Also tried out some plated SWC in .38 Special.  Just as accurate as plated.

Left the range with a mixed bag of brass, all that I shot plus extra.
