Just set this up a few weeks ago, but I'm about to reload so I figure it's relevant.

My garage has a lot of temp swings, from 30*f to 110+ so I figured it wouldn't be a good place to store powders, primers etc. however my press is out there because I don't have a free room to set up a bench. So I made this little gem to do my powder measuring.

It puts my scale decently close to eye level, the pan is a good workspace and is able to catch any spilled powder (for the most part)

I really like the setup so far

I used my newly calibrated and precisely aligned () large rifle primer pocket uniformer to go through 210 7.62 NATO cases (195 LC various years, 15 WCC 68) in about 20 minutes.  I did have the help of a cheap, rechargeable electric screwdriver, but it went very nicely.

Next up (given time, of course) is trimming a batch of .30 Carbine cases for a uniform length before I start loading them up.  Then I clear the decks and gear up to size and trim the NATO cases.

On one hand, it really doesn't hurt anymore, because it's mostly numb.      Thankfully I didn't break the skin as my hands were pretty dirty (and I usually wear gloves, but wasn't tonight).

It's been a busy past few days reloading since its been raining so much here.

I've loaded 308 target loads, 308 hunting loads, 30.06 for my Garand, 8mm for my K98, and 7.62x54R for my commie guns.

Loaded 400 rounds of 55gr .223, eating up the rest of my processed brass. Switched tool heads over to decapping/necksizing and ran about 700. On to swaging and a tumble and I'm back at it.

Well, since We got stuck at a medical appt at the UW, and our Akita got stuck home alone for 12 hours, I had a puddle to scrub off the garage floor.

Had to move a lot of stuff to do it, so spent a good chunk of the day going through stuff and redoing the layout and organizing stuff, I've come to a realization. I am a HOARDER. Specifically of reloading supplies.

As I'm getting low on blasting ammo and my MK 262 load is near completion, I need to get to filling some ammo cans with stuff.

Trying to get the size/trim operation set up on the 1050 to get 3000 OFB LC sized and trimmed to develop a AR-10 load as well.

Slowly but surely.

Will test with the precision coated 9mm 124fp in glocks

Finally got the 1050 and RT-1200 dialed in. One more test batch, then it's on. Roughly 3000 OFB LC to size/trim and expand to go into storage for AR-10 fodder.

Well, I guess one more to do item, figured out how to mount the counter I built, I wanna get that set up.

I discovered that my Lee .308 dies did not remain as pristine as I thought they had in storage.  The "dusty" look on the outside of the sizing die wasn't dust.    The inside of the die is just "dark" and "rough" enough looking that I'm going to say it's done.  I started looking for deals on Hornday dies, and came up with a new and "interesting" situation regarding these dies.  I started a new thread about that.

So instead of setting up to start sizing my .308 brass, I'm surfing the web looking for new dies.  Not so happy with that...

Goes alittle faster then the 2 cavity don't it!

I went down and got the sensor mount put on the 1050, got the sensor in place, adjusted, tested, works great.

Stood back, looked at the press, looked at the 3 buckets of de-capped, wet tumbled OFB LC .308 goodness, and turned the lights off and went back upstairs.

My head and my heart are just not in the game today.

I'm going to try to get out and get My test loads fired off Monday or Tuesday.

De-primed and resized 350rds of LC 11 and some WWB and I'll probably start reaming primer pockets tomorrow. Loaded some more Hornady 75gr BTHP for the mk12's and SAM-R, and started tumbling what brass I have left.

Resized and deprimed a bunch of range 556/223 and tumbled them overnight to make em pretty.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm not sure I want to go to that much trouble with these dies.  They have given me trouble in the past, and before I closely inspected them on the inside, I managed to goober a couple cases just trying to adjust the sizer.  And I'm even less pleased now than I ever had been with Lee's lock ring design, which was super frustrating this time.

Sadly, I haven't been back in my loading room in a couple of days.  Busy with work and such...  Dang it!
