Hey what mounts are you using here?

Interested too. I IM'd Techna with no response

I don't know what happened, but I did reply to your PM. The Fastfire mount on my gun was made by me. The other gun in the rats picture belongs to a buddy and has a Primary Arms Micro Dot sitting on a mount he made. His mount is quite nice because it does not require that the Micro Dount be mounted through the underside of the mount. Meaning that the mount can be attached to the gun first and then the sight mounted to it. This was a big deal because the Micro Dot overhangs the front mount screw. It's a simple but slick bit of engineering. Heres a better picture.

Slick.  I think there'd be demand if you could produce them for a reasonable cost.

Yup, 9mm 158 gr Fiocchi.
Sounded every bit as good as a commercial can.
Shot wet, it's just a hair louder than my suppressed 22.

So many nice guns here.

I'm thinking of getting one myself, and I know of this Ruger MkII for sale:

Just joking, it's my Welrod MkIIA. Shoots well, but the leather baffles has dried up and needs to be replaced.

The rail was a left over rail section from a Troy handguard. I milled a radius down the length to match the barrel shroud contour. From there, I drilled and tapped the Ruger and bolted her up. The mag plate extensions were home builds too and attach to the plastic mag bases that I modified. Honestly, I made one just to add something to the bottom of the gun that color matched the sight mount, but ended up liking the functionality enough that I made them for my remaining mags.

They were made of leather, and is meant to be replaced once worn out. The operators of the gun got a small bag with extra baffles for this purpose.

Are there many of these around in the States? I can't find any record of these sold. I'm curious what they are worth. Mine is the British SOE model, but I know OSS also made these. But I don't know how many were made by OSS.

No, no troll here, it's real.

I got two of these, one is a shooter, the other one is only for display. But both are fully operational, just need fresh leather baffles. Paid about 3000$ for it. I'm not from US, prices here are way lower.

Here they are together with some other rarity's:

On this picture is a sten MkII with a silencer made for the Stay Behind organisation, a localy made Sten MkII, made during the occupation, two Welrod MkIIA's, and a lunchbox Colt.

For those not familiar with the welrod, there is a good page at this adress:  http://timelapse.dk/welrod.php

Thanks, those items are not everyday finds.

I'm from Norway, I collect WWII guns, and I also do ISPC shooting. The Stay Behind organisation is also of great interest.

Would anyone have an estimate of the value of those Welrod's in the US? Prices here are way lower.

I also forgot to mention, the small box with colored pieces, are acid capsules for the time fuse they used on limpet mines. The color indicate the time it would take to activate the fuse.

Seriously, they would be worth whatever a collector is willing to pay.  I imagine that would be considerable, at least 10k.  They are very rare (non-existant??) in civilian hands here.

Well, that is really a good increase from what I paid. But I could not part with them. Even if I bought more, I don't think I could sell them. Wish to get the 9mm version, but they are really rare and expensive here too.

Thanks for the reply, now keep those nice pictures coming.

I do have a Ruger MkII also, here's a picture of it:

My Osprey 9 and Warlock 22 stamps were approved on 8/8. I'm just waiting on the paperwork to get to the dealer so I can get them out of jail.

I shall return with photos as soon as they are in hand.

ETA- stamps are at the dealer. Heading over tomorrow to get them out of jail.

Honestly, it's a lot louder than my 22/45. However it's smooth as butter, pretty accurate, and cycles cci quiets like a champ.
