Also, one last question: what sling adapter is that on the bottom rail? Thanks |

No problem. It's a VTAC QD rail mount.

As long as it handles well for you. |

Fuck it I'll ask. Why the two flashlights? With all that rail space why not run an X300 at 12:00?

Two lights, LASER, SRS, AFG, RSA = "Every accessory?" ...O.K.... Mission dictates gear, fellas. On a daily basis I'm responsible for 12,500 people amongst homes, businesses, 11 banks, 7 places of worship, 8 schools, and a state park/beach. I run two lights because having your weapon light go out in the middle of a dynamic entry on an armed felon sucks donkey balls. Guess how I know. My gear selection was guided by these guys named Costa, Haley & Fisher. But what do they know. My bathroom scale says Vera weighs 11.5 lbs. My previous AR15 work gun was heavier, as were the M203, M249, and M60 I used to carry as "work guns." |

Is a guy who:
a) Attends professional training from reputable Trainers, b) Evaluates the things he needs and chooses them accordingly, c) Carries said equipment in a professional manner really catching shit from everyone? I wouldn't have some of that stuff either but I'm not going to a knock a guy who's gone above and beyond most people. If he feels the capabilities are needed enough for him to carry it, what's the problem? It's not like he's some CSM requiring elbow and need pads while walking to and from EO training... |

Yes

FDE stock latch indicates presence of the internal "anti-wobble" leaf spring. Previous batch of 17S' were the first to get them and now it seems the newst 16S come equiped as well.
|
|
|
Ah...That would explain why the stock on my 17s is so much tighter and wobble free than the stock was on my 16s....

I love it. I actually like my VXR more than my mark4. The dot really draws your eye to the target and combined with the TMR reticle, it makes for some pretty fast ranging and engagement. I really like the fact that it turns itself off after 5 minutes and then back on with a simple movement of the gun... Great scope for the money.
I've got a SS Phantom suppressor on order for it. Cant wait seeing how deer hunting suppressed is legal now in Texas |

I swapped the PWS brake for a KAC NT4 flash hider I had waiting around for a clone build. I'm not sure if I will keep the ATPIAL on this or save it for my CQBR clone (should be approved soon). I also may put the WMX200 on an M4A1 upper and put a M3X on this. I sold my M4A1 Block II clone to get this and have no regrets. I can't wait to take it out and run. Seeing pics online of other people's SCARs don't do the rifle justice in my opinion. IMO, at least with black you won't feel bad about rattle canning it. I'm an Aervoe/Krylon guy myself.....but I can't bring myself to paint my fde. If it was black, I wouldn't hesitate. Just my opinion.
Buy mags |

The can is my Dads, after we shot dogs this last week with the setup Ive decided Ill probably go thread mount as well, but I want titanium. The one in the pics is a Gemtech HVT thread mount he uses on his bolt guns. |
