Wanting possibly a VFG  and light mount on a PTR GIRK.

I know the easy answer is get an MI mlok rail however if I don’t have to spend the money for the same results I don’t want to and I like the looks and feel of the green surplus slim handgaurd.

I have a ton of mlok rail sections already.

I’m not sure if there is enough clearance between the handgaurd and barrel to secure an mlok nut to it. Maybe the old magpul moe system with the thinner plate?

Anyone successful in mounting a rail section to an HK slim handgaurd?
