I used paracord to rig it to the molle on the pack. I dont see a stable way of mounting the kydex to a belt with the loop on the sheath though. It kind of flops around and rides up when you try to draw the blade. |

(My previous pack was a Lowepro Photography bag...it was about the same size, but padded everywhere and had velcro separators that you could arrange any way you wanted....even had a built-in rain hood. Due to all the padding though it was larger on the outside, but had less room on the inside.) |

I never used a bladder before so I am not sure how to set one up. The inside back panel of the pack has a split opening with a foam backing. On either side of the top carry handle there are velcro openings for the drinking tube. Im not sure if it is needed, but there are no straps or anything else to hold the bladder or tube. |

Depending on what I am doing, ill mix and match. Its not all going to be on there at once. The Contour GPS has some settings for low light, and the surefire light gives enough to actually work for some good footage at night. It also doubles up as my IR strobe since my MS2000 smashed. When the manta comes, that will be the strobe that stays on there constantly, and the surefire will hardly be used, only when I am making video. Also, if I need to read maps at night etc, I have a red princeton light which goes on that tan light. I just keep it in my pocket until I need it usually, so it doesn't get caught. The v lites will just be for the night shoots where I really need people to know I am there. All my gear has a thought out use though. Oh, and I got it for $109 because it was an REI sale, they only had one out the box. |

Just curious as i am itching for one really bad, even considering selling several guns to buy a used one SCAR my two big Gripes with it: First the weak buttstock latch that allows the stock to fold under pressure without pressing the button. FN knows its issue but refuses to fix it (yes you can now buy aftermarket latches but for a rifle that cost $2,000.00 you think you would not have to deal with that). Second the charging handle ,throw certain optics on your gun you will bust your knuckles everytime you charge it, bump the handle slighty (say it hits your forward hand) while firiing and you just gave yourself a stoppage. |
