I carry 3 pistol mags on my duty belt so i don't even have them on my PC but everything else looks good. I'm looking for the ability to run my PC slick and throw a chest rig on it while still being pretty minimal. I have 3 rifle mags and a HSGI blowout pouch mounted on my cummerbund, it's a little tough to pull my IFAK contents out. Care to post how much you paid? If not could you PM me? |

The Komodo isn't designed to use the NICE Lid but from how I've got it figured, I think it'll work pretty good, and I can still use this pack as a daypack or expand it for use up to five days, depending on what my AO is. |

And I'm not planning to carry this thing around on a school campus so it'll be fine in an outdoor environment. I originally wanted the Crew Cab, way back when I first discovered MR. Had a long day and equally late night a couple weeks ago and the next day I pulled my crap out for remob. Except for brief deployments and training it usually lives in the back seat of my car. After years of researching, learning and gawking on this forum, here's my humble contribution. Pick it to pieces gents. Mostly personally purchased gear with a couple of issued parts and pieces. This is my scalable active shooter/backcountry patrol/SAR/tactical tracking gear. For extra long movements or SAR work I'll go w only my .5 line, chest rig and Mystery Ranch SATL pack. Also, the position of the belt worn stuff closely mimics that of my frontcountry leather duty gear. 
1st line gear (I've been trying to track down the DBT belt mount collection now for years, now HSGI is doing them )
DBT 2" duty belt (mates w ares belt) DBT belt mount pistol pouch x2 DBT belt mount ASP pouch (req. by policy) safariland M-4 pouch cant remember who makes this single MOLLE folding dump pouch 4x velcro one wrap keepers 5.11 motorola pouch DBT light pouch TT small GP for handcuffs 
.5 line gear (worn on an ares cobra liner belt) endom short admin pouch holds a mag, cuffs and ID (not worn with above 1st line belt) safariland 6004 for SIG P228 w SF X300, one strap and low pro D ring belt attachment. DBT pistol mag pouch bolted to shroud issued united shield IIIa sprint high cut helmet w rhino and SF IR light 
2nd line gear mayflower ACP with issued ICW AMI SAPI3 plates (tough call on these due to M855, but at 3 lbs each, working in a temperate rainforest, they edged out my SAPI's) ares plate silencers on right side PIG mag inserts in cummerbund 11-ten kangaroo insert DBT pistol mag pouch HSGI BOK w QR molly stix and BFG TQ now, CAT is just wrapped in fabric DBT roll up dump pouch TYR 1.5 liter hydro on back
