I personally carried 2 sets that were tied together with a strip of VS-17 panel in middle (IR on one side green on other) in a shoulder pocket. Then carried a green, red, and IR tucked into molle on my vest and if I knew we were doing night stuff I'd add more. |

The outer material is tightly woven which resists abrasion and has a DWR that sheds rain and snow. Got this as a Christmas gift. Another alternative is using the current issue British Combat Smock and wear it over existing layers including your Gore-Tex/rain resistant shell. Or purchase a British Combat Smock with an MVP/gore-tex liner. |
