We are currently experiencing a crushing demand for the Guardian Multi-Curve armor plates and due to back order have had to expedite additional raw materials to our factory in Columbus, OH.  The additional materials arrived today and we are in process now and additional plates should be produced and quality tested and ready for shipment by Monday or Tuesday next week.

If you prefer not to wait and would like to cancel your order or receive an alternative shape and curvature please let us know.

Again, your business is our heart and sole and as many know HighCom is never late on deliveries and this is simply unacceptable.  Your business is extremely important to us and we appreciate your patience."

UPDATE:Just got a shipping notice!!

Correct TT shingles and and a TT magna pistol pouch. Simple cheap and gets the job done. You can also slap some Velcro inside the rifle pouches and add kiwis if that's more your flavor

Bushido Tactical Sentinel Plate Carrier

I chose this due to the quick release cummerbund, and superior stitching/quality control.  It allows me to done the carrier quickly, over my patrol uniform, without removing anything from the carrier to attach the cummerbund.

Features:

-1000d Cordura

-Velcro/PALS front/cummerbund for all velcro dappers, or standard molle pouches.

-Three shingle magazine pouch with velcro backing.

-The elastic loops allow for four shotgun rounds per shingle.

-Two extra side pockets in each cummerbund.

-Padded/armored traps.

-Detachable OFAK pouch.

-Ops Core Ballistic Fast Helmet

that cobra buckle looks really handy in taking off the pc.  much better than opening up the front flap and ripping off the velcro.

I thank you sir for this as that gave me the perfect idea to add a cummerbund to my vest that doesn't have one!

I don't worry about removing it...my worry was putting it on.  It takes 75% less time when putting it on, and it is always the right tightness.

I also own a TYR PICO, and I cannot put the cummerbund on without removing the magazines from their pouches. The Bushido plate carrier is much more efficient.

lol i wont post a total DIY but ill post some pics so that they can get the idea. I took hook and loop, sandwiched two strips of 1" webbing in it(3" of spacing between them to match the molle on the comberbund)  then sewed all around and boxed stitched the webbing. for the buckles i used ITW nexus repair buckles and just hooked the female buckle to the cumberbund molle and folded the rest over, trim the extra webbing for the buckle adjustment and your good to go. ofcourse this is a real quick explanation but you get the point.

this is on a banshee plate carrier using the traditional front flap hook and loop closure.

That's a loaded question.
My PC underwent major surgery to make the raptor buckles work but the Silencers worked with no "necessary" modification

Yeah, but Ares could use the support from the gun community right now, they warranty their work, it's guaranteed to be made in America, and if you pick up a few more things, shipping costs even out.

I applaud your inventiveness but I would let the forum know that the KDH plate carrier uses the same system of buckles. Within a short amount of time of wear they will loosen and start to fall on your hips. The PC will be loose and need to be repeatedly tightened. FUCKING SUCKS. Most of you might not notice if your PC only gets limited wear, but it will be the bain of your existence for long wear.

Tape doesnt work and leaves a mess. Sewing, I think, would be impossible to adjust. That may work for some folks, but I know my weight fluctuates 40lb in calendar year at times.

Get someone to bartack across the width of the nylon webbing that goes through the adjustment buckles.  Do it every inch or so along the length and you have a friction point that helps the buckles stay cinched up.

Seeing them inspired me to do some research and I found the model he has...on a site that needs an acquisition form from your department in order to ship. Judging from the military-style handles they have the igniter that's on the BATFE explosives list. Look up Sport Smoke, their Battlefield model is absolutely ferocious in output. The Enolay Gaye EG-18 appears to put out less smoke in the same amount of time but is available in a multitude of colors. Sport Smoke sell USA-made pouches for the grenades.

Yes, these are department. Photo is for fun, i wouldn't carry these around.
Have not used the sport smoke but looks decent, couldn't hurt to own one or two.

only one knife, its a cheap folder i had, still thinking about what one I want to attach. The black thing in the pouch is a multitool.

What plates do you have in those?  Will the LC Level IV 10x12 shooter's cut plates work?

Did  you find a need to use the HSGI pads or is it more of "just in case" preparedness. I've had my PLATEMinus for a couple months, but the weather's been shit or I haven't had time, so I haven't really run it through its paces. The only things I have on it are a Ten Speed 3 mag pouch and a TQ Now! with CAT. Either way, I love this carrier.

The 762 pouches are Esstac KYWIs that I custom ordered. They work great.
