@Lancelot no I had to add them. I used the Velocity System's swift clip kit. But you can get just the female part from a lot of other places (Milspec Monkey) etc.

I think you have your shoulder pads on backwards. Seams on the inside will chafe the neck. Switch those guys seams out for better comfort.

Nice setup.

The stretch cummerbunds seem to get overlooked but are a game changer IMHO.

Thats how it came from LBX. I see your point though, I'llgive it a whirl the other way.

That one is their Modular Plate Carrier, it's nice but honestly I'm 6'1 200lbs and it baaaarely fits me. If I put on any weight it would be too small and with anything more than a medium weight jacket I can't get the cummerbund closed.

I have some Highcom level 4 plates in there. Whichever ones are their cheap heavy ones everyone was buying on arfcom a few years back.

Med pouch is also LBX, TQ holder is a Blue Force Gear and the mag pouches are HSGI. OD IR flag I got at SKD.

Obviously the user can run it however they like to, but by design your Med pouch is upside down as well.

I know I'm kinda torn on that one. I think I'm going to use it as intended and just pull the cord out to drop a gallon ziploc of my first aid stuff out. I'm so accustomed to being able to open the top and pick out what I want it seems strange to have it upside down.

Nice, and good to know!  You and I are pretty close in height/weight (6’1”, 185), and I’m kind of in between a Medium and Large SAPI.  Is that set for 10x12’s?

The JPC series doesn't have those structural points on the plate bags.

If you want a 2-band cummerbund Crye has a 2-band skeketal

If you're looking for the structural aspect AXL has that.

If you really want the SPC features, it would probably be easiest to sell the JPC 2.0 and buy an SPC as the price seems decent.

There are aftermarket accessories that will let you fit it-but you're still better off with an spc vs a jpc

Can anyone recommend a pouch for an abdominal molle panel?  I have an abdominal panel that came with my ar500 carrier but it just comes with molle, need something to attach to it.  Like the other panels that have a tourniquet holder at the bottom

Thanks Joe. I'll give the USGI insert a look. I have the gallon ziploc in there now and I think it will very likely suffice for my uses. Cheap and gets the job done. It's not a huge IFAK as it is so I'm really just running a Celox ribbon, Israeli dressing, H&H flat gauze, couple Hyfins and some PPE. The CAT is obviously on the PC elsewhere. I do need some good shears...any recommendation there? I've just been using whatever cheap ones Rescue Essentials has in my other kits.

Yes it is set for 10x12s and just looking at the plate pocket it could probably fit the next size up.

What is your opinion so far on the Eagle Ergo? Is it worth it? How does it feel if you're sitting in a vehicle or wearing a ruck?

Merry X-mas everyone!!!

Perusing EE and noticed that a 10+ year member with good EE feedback has a set of Hesco 3810's in 10x12 Shooter's Cut  for $800.

Somebody better jump on that... I've got a set any they are awesome.

Disclaimer: I don't know the member or have any connection with the EE ad.

Grand-daddy of the modern plate carrier. The first US military issue “plate carrier”. Unfortunately I don’t have the plates, but here is the carrier with built in soft armor, which is basically tightly woven nylon with a thick felt backing. This one is from 1969.
