Thank you for your reply. Can you show me a photo of the WTF hydro panel and how you rigged it? I'd greatly appreciate it as there isn't much out there for me to see. |

Wore my gear yesterday to a rifle/pistol class. The esstac daedon with rma 1155 plates was bearable for the 3 hours I wore it. It never felt like it was too heavy for me. One thing I am planning on changing out is the single curve plates for some multi curve plates, but besides that, all went well training in my gear. ETA: looking at this pic, I think I have my rear plate too low on my back. |

Wore my Daeodon for two ten hour days. No issues. Is very comfortable.
Plate does look a skosh low... |

Does anyone know of a 3 mag pouch that would fit under the Velcro flaps up front and collapse nearly flat when empty and not protrude above or below the Velcro?

I haven't attached anything to the cummerbund yet but I definitely see what you're saying. |

Do you see me, Toecutter?
|
That's a hell of a weight difference.
|
|
|
It really is, and the Bulletproofme plates are supposed to be lighter since they are ICW
The MBAV is pretty heavy by itself, the soft armor panels are very thick In hindsight I should have ordered their ESAPI plates but they cost a lot more, the Eagle is a backup carrier that I keep in the truck for impromptu shooting sessions so I’m fine with a little extra weight |

I'm a simple guy. Mayflower APC with Kywi inserts in the Mayflower kangaroo pouch insert. I swapped out the shoulder pads for the thinner SKD pads. It has ESAPIs in it at the moment but I also use L210s and Highcom 4sas7 depending on if it is work related or just personal training.

About to pull the trigger on a Daeodon - L, to replace my JPC2. Any suggestions on what cummerbund to use? I would prefer something with tubes. Should I go elastic or a skeletal one like the JPC has?
I am leaning towards the elastic ones since it will be able to stretch more if I am wearing more layers. |

View Quote I like the skeletal cummerbund with tubes on my Daedon. If I remember correctly the daedon comes with an elastic piece with hooks for the back that you hook your cummerbund into. I’m not sure how much stretch they allow though. |

Poly coatings are geared towards carriers such as the spc where the plate is exposed. BUT they don't have to onlybe for those. Mine are in an lv119. I was debating between these and 3810's but it wasn't worth $200 additional for the .4lbs I'd be saving with them. |

I have not shot with my k19 yet but I didn't find it to awkward shouldering an AR if you don't extend the stock all the way. |
