Well, that was the final straw. I need to buy a Ruger PC carbine and send off two F1s for it. $400 in tax on a what, $400 gun? This is as bad as my 10/22 SBR with can, or that $30 91/30 I shortened...

Stormwerkz folding adapter, I wanted to have a fix stock trunnion installed but the angle on the rear of the receiver stopped me

Sent my Draco SBR off to Two Rivers for a side folder conversion. Also had them add an optic rail while it was there. I provided the Arsenal polymer side folder and trunnion. I added a KNS adjustable gas piston (have a Wolverine waiting in jail), ALG trigger, TWS Gen 3 top cover, TD grip, and right now it’s actually wearing a Manticore arms hand guard. Once it got back I hit it with rattle can Duracoat, and I am blown away by how good the finish is and how easy it was to apply.

Thanks. A lot of thought went into this one. I think 12.5 is an ideal 7.62 SBR barrel length. It's Romanian, so it's pretty bombproof and as long as it passes inspection, you know it's one of the better quality AKs on the market at that price.
I wanted something I wasn't going to have to chop the barrel on and that would lend itself to a side folder conversion. I think the bolt on hinges and side folders are OK if they are installed well, but this is so much better. And while I'm sure there are other Draco's significantly like mine floating around out there, I'm also pretty sure I'm unlikely to run into them.

Me? Yeah, it’s Cerakote, burnt bronze I think. Came with an A2 FH, which got removed for a 3-lug and a Shockwave brace that got removed for the MFT stock once I got my stamp. Also swapped out the trigger for a Larue MBT.

The vertical grip does fold and allow for the stock to be folded while attached, I just didn’t have it at the time I took the picture.
