Hey guys, just picked up an ACR (Bushmaster NY production) yesterday. It came with two barrels (16" and 14.5" pinned and welded).

I want to SBR the gun and use a 10.5" barrel. From what I've found from searching...it appears it can be done using an AR barrel (I understand the journal size for the gas block to the piston block are likely different).

Anyone happen to know what "gas length" the 10.5" barrels were from the factory? Just trying to get a sense of how to approach this using the stripped hardware from the 16" barrel.

IIRC the 10.5" barrels used a carbine length system as opposed to the midlength systems the 14.5-18" barrels used.
