Special of the Week

Center It V-Block

CENTER IT is a tool for drilling pipe, tubing, and round stock, enabling you to easily drill squarely on center using a drill press or mill. Simply run a stationary bit down to center the fixture and then bolt the CENTER IT to the drill press (or mill) table. No clamping of the tube is necessary since the angled flats of the jig hold it centered. Holes will automatically be centered on the tube with no center-punching required. If tubing is too large to drill in a single operation it can simply be turned over.

Especially for the metalworking enthusiast, the woodworking hobbyist, and even the professional automotive mechanic, CENTER IT makes speedy and precise work of drilling tasks. Its "hand vise" grip ridges allow no-clamp holding of round stock for sawing and cutting.

CENTER IT is made of heavy aluminum extrusion.

CENTER IT is 5" (127 mm) long, 4" (102 mm) wide, and 1-3/4" (44 mm) high. The groove at the base of the V is 0.43" (11 mm) wide, so use a drill bit smaller than this to center the CENTER IT.

Special of the Week price: $12.95

Regular price: $19.95  Save 35%

Special of the Week pricing valid through Tuesday, April 19, 2016

Came here to see if you posted the CENTER IT deal.

I ordered as soon as I got the email from Little machine shop and got it the other day and was VERY surprised at the quality. It's a nice piece of extruded aluminum with great features. It lines up well with the T slots in my mill and shall get used often!

Oh yeah, I'm reading, just reloading poor right now. Started reloading from scratch. New 550B, all the "stuff" to go with it. Trying to put a few AR parts in the tool chest in case of another "panic" later this year. Keep it up, I don't always read those e-mails I get, this one just caught my eye because I've been debating on either building one of those or buying.

Do I need another caliper, no. Then why do I want this???

Hey Red_5, what's your opinion and suggestion on an angle vise for my Seig X2? Not using it for crazy work, just have an idea or two and I want to play around.

Anyone have a source for a cheap ball end mill set?  Shars 6pc at ~$34 + s/h is the cheapest I've found.  HSS for use in aluminum and wood is fine.  I don't do much precision stuff, thinking of making tic-tac-toe boards for the kids.

If you haven't heard, Enco is "going bye-bye". They were bought by MSC several years ago and operated as a wholely owned subsidiary. MSC is now absorbing them (IE, taking their customer list) and pointing customers to the MSC website.

FWIW, MSC prices suck on many items and their service isn't that great either from what I hear. I'm going to miss Enco...
