[Last Edit: Breacher]
Anyone have any leads on where to get metal metric mags? DSA is taking forever to release their 20 rounders, the 10 rounders are nice though.
ETA. I appreciate the offers for mags still coming in but I think I'm good for now Thanks to the guys on here that traded/ sold me mags. There has been some good leads for some mags in this post, I hope that others that need mags have found the info useful |

I have some 20 rd DSA polymer mags I'd sell - that said I'd recommend going with surplus mags.

|
I've got a couple of those already, they are ok, looking to pick up more metal mags. Thanks

Keep an eye out on the Marketplace at www.falfiles.com --probably the only likely place to find an original mag at less than rapist prices--

The majority of mine I got a few years ago for $17 and change each, shipped. They do save a decent chunk of weight. |

DSA 20rd steel mag update! Available by April with an improved anti-tilt follower! #gun #fal #sa58 |

They would have to get used and abused by others and establish a reputation for reliability before I'd even consider buying a DSA mag at this point.

I'll stick with my Belgian made mags. but yeah.. I get it |

Avg price is 35-55 depending on origin and how bad someone wants it. You can occasionally score for less, but its a game of hoping the other guy(s) are drunk and forget about the auction. |

Snagged some in like new condition at gun show yesterday for $5 a pop
I’m now up to around 40 mags, 10 of which are dsa, and they seem to function fine for me in my Imbel/imbel. |
|
|
|
all the ones I linked are still still waaaaaaaaaaaaay below $50 a pop.
Even the "sold" ones are between $25 to $35 each at most so yeah, if you just bid on some on broker you can get em way below this mythical $50 each price |
|
|
"mythical".... lol.

Fuck the JObama cabal.

Seriously, I think the main point is “where can I go to a reliable vendor and buy some” and not “if you play auction sniper you might get lucky and score some deals”. I for one haaaate doing business on gunbroker. I’ve obviously done okay for myself on the EE but you have to be fast and that’s hard to do sometimes. Stuff that lingers is priced on the high side, hence the mythical price.
I really hope DSA’s new-gen steel mags are good and help settle the market some. PSA’s Israeli mag blowout was a great thing when it went down. |

It looks like the ancient format the old sturmgewehr site used. I'd be hesitant to give anyone there my email address, let alone any money. I'm not sure exactly what point you're making here, trolling (in the fishing sense) the secondary market and sketchy websites is a crappy way to do things. |

Snugbus is GTG as most of the "old timers" from subguns.com moved over there after Tom Bowers sold it and was then "reorganized" by new owner.
