I need a new couch but never use it and buying a new one would take away from the gun fund

I had the same setup on one of my Carbine's. I decided to swap the rail to a new production Fulton Armory Carbine and am going to try a  Vortex Venom red dot when it comes in

Newest Family Photo,
Left to right. CMP SA "Expert" Garand, 1943 Inland, 1944 Inland, NPM, 3 Fulton Armory Carbines, the "Howachester" a 1966 Plainfield and CMP H&R "Expert".
I keep this up Bob the Minion is going to need a bigger couch 😀 Right now I've another 1944 Inland at Fulton Armory being reparked, I damn near ordered a 3rd Garand from CMP (filled the paperwork for another Expert and said wait to see if they get Service models back) and I'm "watching" another 1944 Inland on GB. I also had to talk myself out of a IAI model Carbine at a LGS yesterday for 800 beans mainly because I told myself I DIDN'T NEED IT 😂
I'm not a addict, I can quit anytime (mainly because my gun fund is broke 🙁 )

@DonFlynn

I shot 2.5" groups at 50 yds. Very happy with that. I reload .30 to control ammo cost.

I found a nice Springfield Armory M2 walnut replacement stock at the OGCA show in Ohio today for $65 bucks. Swapped some metal parts around with a birch stock and now my "shooter" USGI Inland has some new duds

@DonFlynn:  Yes, a new stock is always nice (yours looks very nice).  I found one too (new to me anyway) and had to switch my M2 Carbine over...

.05 if I'm reading that gauge right. I'd run that by someone like Fulton or Shuff's for a repark and sand and refinish that stock. Few hundred bucks you'd have another sweet looking Carbine.

I just brought this little beauty home today. It was made by the Millville Ordnance Company (MOCO). They were built for a short period of time in the 60's out of a combination of new commercial parts and USGI parts:
