Is there a high temp anti seize thread lubricant that isn't so messy?

No man in the history of ever has opened up a container of anti-sieze without getting some of it on themselves.

I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.

LOL...LOL...That's what I thought that would be the answer. For now I think I will stop using it on the suppressors that don't get that hot anyway.

I bought some brown high temperature anti-seize that has worked really well, but I avoid touching it. Putting a little bit of anti-seize on a Q-tip then applying the anti-seize to things seems to be working out really well.

I have some silver anti-sieze on my fingers just because I remembered using it recently due to reading this thread.

For suppressors, I always recommend Loctite LB8009. You can get it in a small tube. Apply with a toothpick, zero mess.

Pardon my noob-ness...are you guys placing the anti seize on the threads when connections the can to the muzzle device, or the threads of the end caps on the can? Both?

I use the stuff that Griffin repackages. Comes in a small jar, which makes it easy to use a Q-Tip and not make a mess. It also seems to be less messy in general, but maybe it just seems that way due to not turning everything in sight silver.
I don’t remember who makes it, but they only sell it in quantities that would last an entire family several generations. |

The silver anti-seize that I use on automotive and equipment fasteners work just fine for me. Messy, yes, but it works well.
It goes on all threads. Barrel, mounting device, end cap. |
