I didn't see this posted anywhere here, but the State Dept. is trying to raise ITAR fees by 40%-to-250% soon. This would affect many small businesses that don't even export.

ITAR fees for Manufacturer FFL's planned to be going UP - Hit those Public Comment responses if you disagree

Still might be nice to lend some support for our bretheren that do make chips.

And perhaps subcontracting 07's are one legal term interpretation away from having to pony up sometime in the future.

And of course, one day in the not-to-distant, we'll all have $1500 BambuMetal Printers cranking out cans in our garages and we'll wish we stood up against silly ITAR fees for non-exporter manufacturers.  :D
